Cute and Fun
This is a lovely game where you collectively build a hamlet together with the other players. It’s satisfying and fun to see how the little map develops, but it is also quite competitive. I enjoyed the thought and care that the creators put into making this game. This would be a great gift for folks who enjoy games like Cataan.

Overwrought and over complicated
My friend and I spent literally 30 minutes trying to set up this "simple" game and still had several pages of rules left to read before we could even begin. We abandoned ship as there was simply no way this game would be interesting enough to justify the cumbersome setup. You might enjoy this game if you were stranded on an island and you had literally no other way to occupy your time.

Awesome game - medium level difficulty
I bought the kickstarter version of this game and have loved it ever since. There is a decent amount of set up, but it’s a very replayable game.

waste of money
felt like i fell into a big con buying this at the price as you only get a few cardboard cutouts some very small pieces in such a large box. the instructions you get do not tell you how to play the game very confusing, after following what instructions were enclosed getting set up was quite a task then there was another instruction sheet that then tells you to remove some of the things that the previous sheet had you set up and that's where it stops. We ended up going to the university of google there we found more instructions on the games website on how to play. so after trying to read the instructions from an android. and by the time we got part way through the trial set up 3 hrs or so the night was over my nieces and nephews are very disappointed. if i had only paid $20. it wouldn't have been so bad, but $69.14 plus tax. . we will try again next time i visit but i have a feeling that i will be returning this game.
