Nice puzzles to do and relax the brain a bit...
My current go to book for road trips.

Extremely difficult
Most puzzles contain lengthy sentences and phrases mostly meaningless, even ridiculous. The majority of the rest of the clues come from pop culture and slang. On the other hand, some puzzles require scholarly erudition and knowledge of foreign languages. Thus neither a celeb wannabe nor a well educated person can deal with all such puzzles. The only good features of this book is that it is spiral bound and has an attractive cover.

Not too easy crossowrds.
These are a good series of crossword books. They're not as good as the NY Times Monday/Tuesday crossword books, but they are very close. Often the 'themes' of these crosswords don't make any sense, but overall these are a good, fun, series of books. The puzzles are easy enough to do, but not too easy.

not easy
This is far from an easy book. Difficult references, unclear clues, words I have never heard of. I have done thousands of puzzles and have an english lit. degree so I'm not a novice but I do enjoy easier puzzles as I watch sports or movies. This is not one of those books.
