I purchased this for a 2017 ZX6R. Of course when you get the chain it's covered in white packing grease and you have to clean this off or it will fling all over the bike (and attract dirt), so I soak all my new chains in kerosene and brush them off to look shiny and new. Then I hang it from the ceiling and coat it in my favorite flavor of chain lube, and it's good to go. Runs very smooth, gold finish looks rich and nice. The master link is a clip type which isn't an issue, I always cover the clip with silicone to prevent it from flying off even though the likelihood of that is extremely rare.To properly install the master link, I used calipers to measure the width of the other links and then used a a cheap eBay chain tool to press the master down to the same width.

Says nowhere on listing about it being for atv/ off road use but when it arrived it has a sticker on the box that says atv off road.

EK chains have served me for decades and have yet to fail to deliver outstanding performance. Whether with o/x rings or without EK have been a backbone product in my racing and riding programs. If you are a (street) road rider the X-ring gold chains are far and away the best value and the best product on the market. Be sure to get staked master links for anything in the 100hp range.

My chain came kinked because the seller through it in a damn bubble wrap envelope an shipped it like that an it got beat to hell.Ek chains are good but the shippers are bad. No reason for a new chain to have a kink in it because of poor shipping.I would of sent it back but I had already prepped my back an had to make it work because I needed my ride.

After cleaning all the wax off it began to gleam of quality and beauty.
