Can you use one without the other?

Yes, you can use just one. This would be good for a side sleeper.

Can they be used to view Netflix or movies?

Yes, if you’re using them as Bluetooth buds

Can you listen to the left without the right

Two bluetooth earphones can be used separately or together

I don't understand what I am doing wrong? I believe they are fully charged but they beep in my ear. there are no lights on the outside of the case

I had this happen once. Make sure both earplugs light up in the case individually. Click it in and out until they both light briefly. They won’t stay on but it means it’s connected. Then plug in until all the lights on the outside of the case are lit. This means it’s fully charged. Hope this helps.
