Teather broke after a couple uses
Teather broke after a couple uses. But the mouthgaurd is great.

Allows a lot of air through
I know this mouth piece is for football, but I bought it because I jet ski and a lot of the time the water is rough. I got this to keep me from grinding my teeth while jet skiing or chipping them when I hit a huge wave. The mouth piece works very well. The only complaint I have is the ends of the lip guard tends to curve back toward the face a little more than I would like. That little extra curve tends to rub the skin when you adjust your bite (minus 1 star). There are a couple things the manufacturer could to to improve this. 1. Make the rubber at the end softer 2. Adjust the curve at the ends of the lip guard 3. Add a little more material at the ends, so it isn't the edge of the lip cover that is running the skin Overall it looks and functions very well except for the 1 item I mentioned. Please understand I have a large cranium and someone with a smaller head may not have this problem, but I cannot give 1/2 stars.

Son likes
So far it has lasted a season of tackle and a season of flag football. My son isn't a chewer on these so I think we will get another season out of it.
