Nice and flat, works great, museum clay keeps them in place!
These are durable and good! If you worry about them moving, use museum clay. This keeps my cats off the counters and my dresser. I love that they’re pre-cut, and not a roll. These lay nice and flat and fit well. I secure them with some museum clay and we’re good! Being pre cut they’re so much easier to use also.

works (for my cats)
These have worked great for keeping my cats off of surfaces. They didn't cause any drama, stress, or pain for the cats; they quickly learned that the surfaces had become prickly and uncomfortable and routed around them. I haven't had to glue them down or anything. Smarter cats might figure out that they can push them off a surface, but mine are a bit on the dense side and would just rather not interact with them at all. They're big enough and plentiful enough that you can cover a lot of surface area with one 12-pack. They're also really easy to cut down: I have a piece on a small USB docking station that gets warm but isn't really safe for the cat to be laying on, and it does the trick there. For some reason, Amazon wants me to mention battery life in this review, so... yeah, these last forever on 0 batteries of whatever type you have lying around (or don't).

Keeps my dogs off the furniture
Very good at keeping my dogs off the furniture. However, it might be nice if they came in a color so people don't sit on them accidentally. We've had a few hurt bums due to them being clear.

Good product
We have several feral cats in my area. & they want to camp out at night on my patio furniture. These are perfect to train them to keep off the furniture. I just throw them on the cushions & that’s it.

EFFECTIVE cat deterrent
The Petfolio 12 Pack Scat Mat for Cats 16 c 13” has been so effective for me that this is the third pack that I have purchased (2 purchases were on a previous account, 1 on this account). I have 8 inside cats and needed easy solutions to prohibit them from accessing certain spots: kitchen counters, appliance tops, and a spot that was sprayed but cleaned with enzymatic cleaner. Mine include some very, very small adult cats that have tried to be creative and walk on the edges of the mats…nope, didn’t work for them lol. They don’t hurt your cats. They are just not comfortable. The spiked parts a thin flexible plastic. I have accidentally stepped on them and the spike broke but just bent over and was easy to stand right back up. The cats absolutely leave them alone now. They are a lifesaver for me! The mats are very light weight, super easy to lay out and pick up for times when you want to remove them. They have been the perfect training tool for my cats and me!

Great find!
Had these for several months now. I have no complaints. Had zero expectations when buying it. I was just looking for a cheap, easy solution that could possibly help. Easy to use, self explanatory. They have small holes for securing them. I used zip ties to mount it to my fence as a deterrent. The material didn’t seem like it would do much BUT it’s durable. It’s been living out in the elements. Exposed to extreme heat and sun, rain, wind, and occasional biting. It’s been great so far!

Only works for a week or 2
We placed these on the counter tops and tables after finding poop smears on them. The spikes worked great for awhile, until one of my cats gained enough courage to walk on them and eat my flowers.

Great for cats AND squirrels!
These worked great for cats AND squirrels! Two tips. 1) If you trim along the edges of each sheet where you would like to lay them, you can perfectly link multiple sheets together just by overlapping a few rows of spikes. This makes it one interlocked long sheet that won't slide as much and there won't be any gaps (and easier to setup and take down than the built in link edge). 2) Squirrels used to devour the seed from my bird feeders, but these can be made to be a perfect squirrel deterrent. - Trim an edge as mentioned before and cut the sheet in half - Roll each half sheet into a tube by interlocking two rows of spikes and temporarily holding the tube with small spring clamps - Zip tie the tubes to hold them permanently and then slide them onto the poles. They are just pointy and unstable enough that the squirrels just wait for the birds to be sloppy and knock seeds down.

Did the trick…
I put these on top of a shag rug that my cat was doing his business on… He is smart enough to know that he should not walk on them and has returned to doing his business in the litter box. I will leave them out a while longer nonetheless because they are clear and don’t look horrific. I have a multi cat household, and they are all smart enough to not hurt themselves on the mats. Their curiosity was piqued, and they touched them with their paws, but did not make any attempt to walk on them. Me, on the other hand, I accidentally stepped on one, and I nearly did a 360 in the air… Lol.

Didn’t work / poor quality
My cat climbs right on these so it definitely wasn’t what I was looking for :( and the adhesive stickers are super weak so they moved easily and often

Works for cats!
Works for cats. I’ve used it on dining chairs, tables, etc. They don’t dare to jump. 😊

These are cat toys, not preventative mats...
We set these up to block the babies room from cats that want to yodel the baby awake. Normally, the cats cock-a-doodle-doo at 3am. But this night was different. At 12am, the cats were bulldozing these mats all around the house. I woke up to crazy eyes and perked whiskers shoving these mats everywhere! We tried for a week. Because they're clear, humans suffer the most when attempting to cross. They are invisible!! Nobody was spared. Nope. Returning these cat toys and human torture devices
