Working well
I bought 2 of these for a large finished basement.I have attached longer hoses to them to drain into the sump.Once they both got to the set humidity they only run when needed.Good price compared to others I looked at.Not very loud compared to my old ones.

Humidity sensor may be off
This dehumidifier is almost the same as my old VacPlus dehumidifier which I really liked. Same design, refrigerant, labeling and wattage usage (about 160-180 depending on room temp and humidity). I think the two brands must use the same manufacturer. I use this dehumidifier on a circuit that is not dedicated and so far I haven't blown the circuit. The humidity sensor was a problem in the first unit I received. It was higher by at least 20 and the unit never shut off so they replaced it. Nobody replied to the warranty e-mail in the manual so I wrote the seller on Amazon and that's how I got service. The replacement works but I have to set the target level 5% higher than what I actually want. I want 45% humidity so I set the dehumidifier to 50% and according to the two other sensors in the garage the dehumidifier is regularly shutting off once humidity hits the low 40s.Another reviewer suggested this dehumidifier does not blow hot air but it does, just like all dehumidifiers. I put this dehumidifier in my bedroom on a hot summer day to see what would happen. The temperature in the bedroom in the afternoon (around the high point of the day) was 81 with 67% humidity. By nighttime the temperature in the bedroom was 86 with 41% humidity, which was actually less comfortable than the other rooms where the temperature had dropped.edit: I drain by hose but the included hose was too flexible and kinked. I replaced it with some clear vinyl tubing I have that is 7/16 I.D. and 1/8 thick. I'm not sure if that's the specified size but it's a tight fit and working fine.

Really Really CHEAP, but appears to work.
I received exactly what I paid for, a cheap dehumidifier. It took me about twenty minutes to get the bucket out of the cabinet. The filter had fallen into the tank. It was too tall to fall into the tank and the crack I got when I opened it was too small for my hands to get down into my tank to lift the filter up. The caps to redirect the water into the hose were ok, but you have to lay on the floor or tip the cabinet to see the hole above the tank to place the cap into. The hose is a thin walled vinyl hose that will kink extremely easily if you are not careful. It will fit inside a 5/8” garden hose. The hose discharge is out the back of the cabinet and since I have the discharge going through the wall the air exhaust is directed at the wall. It IS quiet. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Not that they make much sense. A drop of water with a line through it means the dehumidifier Is working. ANION mode - it is a mode and I have no idea what it means. It came with a square black screen - no mention in the instructions, but it is about the same size as the filter. I have 2 barely working dehumidifiers and I found only one company that would try to fix them, but $120 for the service call and no guarantee they could fix them.

Game changer!
I got this HUGE dehumidifier because I have a very wet basement. Which was causing problems.I have a sump pump in my basement but that doesn't dry everything.I needed a dehumidifier to reduce the humidity. This was VERY easy to set up.Basically, I just pulled it from the box and attached the hose (you can use the hose or the pull-out water holder or both; I chose just the hose so I wouldn't have to worry about emptying the water holder). Also, needs to be able to plug into an outlet.I put the hose in the sump pump hole (if you don't have one, you would need a place for the water to go when using the hose so maybe a bucket or feed it outside or whatnot).I turned on the dehumidifier. It has many different options for times, types of circulation, etc. I chose continuous and set a timer for 6 hours! I could hear it working (it is a little loud) but also really nice when you could HEAR the water being emptied into the sump pump!I ran this for a few days and I HAVE A DRY BASEMENT! I will use this as needed. So easy to use and literally virtually no work on my end! Love it! This is worth every cent!

It works but not as well as advertised
It definitely draws a lot of water out of the air and it’s quiet. It does not service a whole home. My home is 1600 sqft and this may work for about 400sqft.Update. After less than 10 months of use it is now not operational. The control board is on the fritz and it just cycles through modes constantly. Poor durability for sure.
