I installed one of these underneath the bridge of my fretless precision bass and wired it to a separate output jack. This little science experiment worked so much better than I hoped. It’s a beast with 2 outputs but having that piezo pickup gives me woody sounds and percussive attack like an upright bass. I can even use it to trigger midi sounds in my DAW. tl;dr- if you have an ounce of know-how and a few bucks these things are fantastic.

Cheap or affordable alternative to fixing your electronic drum pads. If you know how to disassemble your drum pads and have basic soldering skills, then this is an easy task. No need to have it fixed by an electronics expert. Even if you mess up, you get a lot of these so you can start over until you get it right. You will also still have spares left over.

easy to use. Small and light

Added one of these under the lip of an Alesis Turbo Mesh drum high hat for better sensitivity. Works like a charm. 3D printed an enclosure for a 1/4" plug (also bought through amazon)
