Lavern was my cousin. I was still in grade school when he died, and I learned a lot that I didn't know.

A great book about a wonderful human being brought to life by Mr. Sikes. It is a book that takes you with Lavern inside the ring and tells the bigger story of Lavern outside the ring. I believe that anyone that reads the book will take from it that it would have been an honor to have known him.

Wonderful story and well written. Worth your time.
