And the roast is great! 💯 It's so smooth. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Robusta caffeine *by D***D on April 18, 2026* Ummm !!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good Vietnamese coffee! *by C***C on May 8, 2026* This Birdee Vietnamese Coffee Gift Set came with a 12 oz bag of Robusta coffee beans, a 12 oz coffee phin, a scoop, and a salt sample and a tiny salt spoon. It's very well thought out, great as a gift to someone who loves coffee! The coffee beans were bigger than regular Arabica beans. They smelled chocolatey to me which I loved! The holes on the coffee phin were the size of my current smaller phin, so I ground the coffee beans at medium coarse grind, right in the middle between medium (for drip coffee) and coarse (for French Press). Heated water to 200ºF and poured it over the coffee phin. It worked wonderfully with the grind size I used. The coffee together with condensed milk created a wonderful cup of strong Vietnamese coffee. I also added ice to my Vietnamese coffee. The coffee had a bold flavor and was very smooth, just like how Vietnamese coffee should be. Robusta beans gave me the buzz, I felt hyper for quite a long time. LOL! There was a ding on the coffee phin cup as well as the lower perforated plate, otherwise everything else is good. I love that they included a coffee phin in this order, made it easier for us to make Vietnamese coffee. The coffee phin is one with a top that you drop onto the coffee, not the screw on type.
