Why did you pick this product vs others?: It did what I needed for a decent price. It is different to adjust, it has a splined slider at the top versus what I'm used to (the locking nut at the bottom). And the higher you go the harder it is to twist, I attached a deep socket and used that as additional leverage while getting it set to 230 ft lbs. I'd buy it again, if that makes a difference of opinion.

I’m really impressed with this torque wrench. Right out of the box, it feels like a quality tool solid, well-machined, and built to last. The grip is comfortable and has just the right texture so it doesn’t slip, even when my hands are a little oily. The click adjustment is precise and satisfying, which gives me confidence that I’m tightening bolts exactly to spec. I’ve already used it for a few tasks, including tightening car wheel nuts and doing a motorcycle oil change, and the accuracy has been spot-on. The 90-tooth ratchet makes small adjustments easy, especially in tight spaces like around the intake manifold. For the price, this wrench delivers excellent value it performs like a much higher-end tool but without the premium cost. If you want a torque wrench that has quality craftsmanship, a solid grip, and great value, this one’s a winner.

Received and used right away. The arm was not look sturdy as pictures showed but does the job. Very straight forward and ease to use. The manual is too small to read the text :). We are happy with the set for time being.

I have no way to check the calibration, but I only needed it to be close for suspension bolts. It seemed to be fairly accurate and consistent, was well made with smooth operation, and included a nice case to store it in. It satisfied my need at a very low cost, I would recommend.

I bought this torque wrench set as a gift for my husband, and he was absolutely thrilled with it! As soon as he opened it, he told me it looks super fancy and feels high-quality. He even told me, "You shouldn't have spent so much money!" haha. The truth is, this set looks and feels way more expensive than what it actually costs. It's an amazing value for a complete 9-piece kit.

So I usually wait about a year to write reviews on items like this because that's when you start seeing these lower-quality torque wrenches (the bad ones, at least) fail. And yep, I'm glad I waited with this one...I liked it out of the box, but it let me down after a year or so of pretty light use. This wrench isn't very durable - the click mechanism failed, and it basically acts as a breaker bar, never hitting the torque mark. I was always quite kind to this wrench, fully removing the load every time before storing it, and never really asking it to go above 150 ft lbs or so. I would recommend stating away from this unit and looking elsewhere. This wrench isn't priced to be a throwaway item, so I don't see it as a good value event though it's on the Harbor Freight side of the price spectrum.
