Installed into my 1993 f250. Pretty awesome for plain old bluetooth. Custom OS is nice, but kind of slow. Doesn't have wireless android auto, which is pretty sad. All in all, it is a massive improvement.

This Boss stereo system is truly gorgeous and well-made in every single way. It is a single din 12” screen with Apple and Android capabilities. This was very easy to install and comes with everything needed for a successful installation. The touchscreen is beautiful and very responsive. It connects flawlessly to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. I haven’t had any issues with this stereo so far. It sounds great. The screen also can be removed from the stereo system itself by pushing two buttons on the back, this is a great feature to ensure your stereo doesn’t get stolen. I also love how this screen sticks out a bit, which means it doesn’t block my AC, and it can be swiveled to whatever angle you desire. The price of this high-quality stereo is very good considering the screen size, high-quality item, and everything this stereo can do. I recommend this brand and stereo to anyone looking for a new stereo for their vehicle. This gives older vehicles nice stereos with big screens. My favorite feature is that this can use maps while listening to music. It also connects to Wi-Fi for watching tV and using apps. This also has ports for your backup cameras and has Bluetooth capabilities. Overall, this is a great stereo and will make a great gift for anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle stereo system.

It seemed really promising for the first 20 minutes. Once I started tapping some of the below screen buttons, the unit froze. From that point on, it never loaded past the logo screen, not even after a hard reset. I’m going to return it since Boss has not responded to the ticket I opened with their customer support 6 days ago. I’m going to buy something similar but from a better brand. I’m open to recommendations.

I am rebuilding a classic mini and wanted a large radio screen that will take over the left-hand side of the dashboard with a knob. This does and doesn't fit the bill; the screen and audio are great, with absolutely no issues at all; however, the price of the extra 2 inches is an additional $200 at the time of writing this compared to the 10 inches and doesn't appear to have any additional features. It's worth mentioning that 12-inch stereos aren't mainstream, as they are a bit funny looking in a majority of dashes, so that may speak to that. However, there are wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto units on the market for $65, I personally run a $150 unit in my daily that has been dead reliable. At $500 with a newer product, my expectation is that it'll be wirelessly compatible. Now, you can run a wireless adapter but those do boot slower so keep that in mind. I suppose I can recommend it as it's the only 12-inch single din unit I could find that wasn't a no-name Android unit. It works fine otherwise but is fairly basic as radios today go.

I have an older vehicle that definitely needed an upgrade from the old factory AM/FM/CD stereo. Generally, I do not like listening to the radio (because I strongly dislike all the commercials) and never play CD's, so I was trying to use a Bluetooth adapter with my iPhone which was not the best solution for me either. Well, this unit is just what the doctor ordered to bring my vehicle into the 21st century lol! It was relatively easy to install once I acquired the specific dash kit and wiring harness adapter for my vehicle. I love all the features on this unit, especially the Apple CarPlay which mirrors my phone on its huge 12" screen. The touchscreen's video quality is excellent, and it is very responsive. The sound quality is also definitely better than my old stereo too! So far, I am very pleased with this product's performance, so it earns the top rating and recommendation from me!

The BCPA12 12" single din by BOSS Audio Systems is a high quality and well build multimedia, i'm loving the 12" screen is HUGE and so easy to use. connecting this unit in my car was an fairly easy job if you have the basic knowledge of what goes where i had to use an adapter to use my steering wheel controls (was not included). it is so cool that i can move and adjust the screen, i'm using the Android auto and it is working very well, the best thing is using the navigation on a 12" screen it's just so comfortable. navigating through the menu to set up is very easy the touch screen is very responsive and the menu system is not too congested. the mic during a phone call works well and i'm getting clean and clear sound over the line.

I purchased what was supposed to be a new unit, but packaging looked questionable, and it had a strong smell of burnt electrical. And the unit didn't power on. I'll need to double check all of my wiring, but initial look appears to have proper power from the vehicle. I'll update with my results once confirmed.
