I bought this bit to drill holes for new stairway balusters. It is sharp and drills smoothly. I'm drilling a straight hole at an approximate 45-degree angle and find that it runs at first, but I was able to work around that. Mind you, I am pretty handy but admit that I'm a novice when it comes to carpentry.

It’s a forestner bit. Best used in a drill press to get really good results other than that it works very well

I’ve been using this for drilling out holes for arcade buttons into plywood and it’s the right size for a 30mm arcade button, gets a cleaner edge than when I’ve used a spade bit

I've only used it a few time so far but the cut quality is good and it clears the shavings well. I'd buy it again if needed.

Used this bit on my drill press to fit some medallions to my handgun grips. this bit even though being economical is sharp and left a smooth place for me to inlay the medallions on my grips. Dont pay more this is a great tool for the price.
