Fingerprint Biometric Handgun Safe

For a price like this I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised with this little safe. The fingerprint sensor works great, I followed the instructions and recorded inch of my fingers multiple times in different angles and spots I haven't had any issues opening the safe yet. It is very responsive to my fingerprints. It is lightweight enough to carry in my backpack if needed, feels secure, has accessories included such as a wire handle for easier carrying, safety wire anchor to secure the safe to something if needed, also elastic straps to secure the content while transporting to prevent dings and scratches. It is surprisingly small but at the same time spacious enough to fit my Glock 17 which is a full size gun with 3 mags in it.The only feature that it lacks of is a tamper alert. I wish it had some kind of audible alarm if someone tries to mess with it.I hope it lasts long, otherwise I would recommend this to anyone.

I just received this and I love it! It is heavy and secure. The fingerprint opening was so easy to set up, and it opens immediately after scanning finger. Very reasonable price for the great quality of this safe!

The Mamba Vault Biometric Gun Safe is a great value and perfect way to keep your handgun safe. It's made well, has storage pockets and plenty of room from a gun the size of a Glock 17, 3 Magazines and a Quick Loader. My only complaint is that the fingerprint reader can be finicky. You really need to use all 3 primary fingerprint readings for your own finger so it opens consistently. But once I used it and practiced capturing my expanded fingerprint, it works like a charm every time I open it. I prefer the Biometric style over the Numeric Code as under extreme pressure, you can forget a code, but your finger will always work. Plus you can use a Key for a backup. For a single handgun case, I can honestly say this a worth the $134 I paid.

Perfect solution for bedside handgun storage. This is the second try at a biometric gun case and it works as advertised. It’s well built, offers good interior padding and the fingerprint reader performs flawlessly. I’ve read some other reviews that are negatives but keep in mind it’s not a safe and only comes with a very basic theft prevention cable. This is not going to prevent theft but will keep small hands away from a loaded gun which is why I purchased it.

we bought two! The fingerprint reader was not sensitive enough to act timely. Often, you had to move around your finger to get a read. We gave one away to my son - who takes everything anyone else does not want and now the other turns green and beeps but the lid does not disengage. It opens now only with the key. This defeats the feature to be keyless. I cant decide to trash it or pawn it off on some other fool.

Easiest safety product I've ever had. Keep valuables along with firearms securely tucked away. Simple to set up!

I wanted a little vault that would sit by my nightstand, but I’ve also taken it in the car. The fingerprint reader is rock solid. It won’t open for any finger that I haven’t “enrolled,” and it always opens right away for the one that is in its memory. Solid materials, looks nice.

The build quality feels good and the fingerprint access is reliable. It would be perfect, if not for the design flaw in my picture. I can't use the left side strap because the fingerprint wire runs over the upper left hook, and I don't want to damage it. If it weren't for this flaw I'd probably give it five stars.Update: Several years later. It always just works, even after leaving it alone for literally years. Hard to complain about it's primary purpose.
