Elle coud correctement les tissus épais à condition de "jouer" avec le pied de biche comme indiqué dans le manuel d'utilisation en français qu'il faut réclamer par mail à Singer, ce qui n'est pas pratique. L'enfileur d'aiguille fonctionne bien et le placement de la canette est facile (contrairement à ma précédente machine Brother). Grande variété de points. Je trouve qu'elle coud bien. Pour la solidité, on verra car l'adjectif "heavy" dans la référence de la machine est usurpé, celle-ci n'étant pas lourde du tout, étant majoritairement en plastique.

Fue un regalo para ni esposa y a ella le encantó! Hasta se puso a bordar mi nombre en las toallas que uso para el GYM! Se ve robusta y es algo que buscaba, tiene la impresión de ser durable. No se de detalles técnicos.

Super macia funciona perfeitamente

I like the machine as overall. It is reliable and I cannot complain about the functions. One thing that I do not like is the grey plastic, not only because of the color but because of the smell. I hope that the smell will disappear, or at least Google give this this answer when I asked about it. I have an old Pfaff machine that has problems but the white smooth plastic of my Pfaff is incomparable with this grey plastic. I do not have the answer why Singer decided to use such material. The other disappointment from my purchase (it is my fault) is that although I made research before the purchase (I was hesitating a lot between this model and the HD6805) reading and comparing these models, couldn't understand that 6705 does not have automatic cut which I wanted so much. Anyway, the machine is reliable and good for the price.
