Can this be used on steak?

I don’t know. I have always used in cake and other desserts for decoration. It is quite costly to put on steak.

What is the weight of just the gold leaf? I see 0.102 ounces but does that include the weight of the paper that separates them?

I don't know for sure. This gold is extremely thin. So thin it can easily blow away or tear. It must be used very carefully. I used tongs to lift and place it. I hope that helps.

i would like to use this for candles but i need to know does this change color? like after days, weeks?

I didn't notice any changes in time. The gold is real gold so if you have good vision like me you really experience it and know it is gold, such a soft and buttery glow not like fake gold that has that silvery glow.
