This has been one of the most enjoyed christmas presents this year. I was a little skeptical getting one of these because of people saying they break quickly, amd/or not easy to control. I think the control issues are user-error from people just unable to figure the thing out and giving up quickly. It takes a little bit of time to get the right touch, but once you figure out the subtle angling it takes, you can do all kinds of cool stuff. My 6 year old is able to make it go where she wants most of the time and starting to be able to do different tricks besides flying in a straight line. I've been doing a lot of cool stuff with it that really excites the kids when I get it. It's pretty cool that it is challenging to get it to do what you want, but it's very fun and exciting when you start getting good. As far as durability, ours has crashed into walls and brick walls at full speed over and over and over and it keeps on going. So I dunno about durability issues for others, but none here so far! We get a good 15 minutes of fun with each charge and it doesn't take long to re-charge. Hopefully it doesn't lose too much charge quickly, but if we get another month of fun out of this, for the price paid, it was worth it, and we'll be getting repalcements.

No one said it would be easy, but this toy is challenging for those who don't have good hands/eye coordination. If your kid is only a gamer, pass on this one. If they like to play outdoors and participate in sports, they will like it. Only negative is, we cannot figure out how to make it boomerang back. Still working on that one.

Awful. My daughters had fun for 5 minutes only. That thing fell to the ground (soft ground) and blacked out. We recharged it overnight. Next morning we unplugged it, turned it on, and lights were off. It started making an awful noise and that was it. Piece of garbage.I am embarrassed I gifted one of those to a loving kid.I wish I could return it, but I discarded the original box.
