Is it a sleeve or a wrap with Velcro straps?

Its kind of sleeve. But can be tight with straps. Its not good for over weight people. Their X large size is not big enough for my in laws. Her weight is 200 lbs. Cant wear.

Can I hand wash this brace? I threw the box away.

Yes, it is recommended to hand wash this product. Steps are as follows: 1. Remove hinges, clips, metal splints and close fasteners from the product. 2. Bought it for my father and he is too feeble to squat. . . just used for getting up and down out of chairs.

What about small knees like 14"
