Fantastic headphones. Sound and other features amazing. Worth the extra expense esp on prime deal
Hi, couldn’t wait to do this review before the prime deal runs out. Absolutely amazing headphones. Sound terrific noise cancelling brilliant and does what it says when you start to speak to someone the speaker is turned down instead of continuously having to turn the volume on your own computer down and up again ! Really comfortable , don’t know I m wearing them. Comes with different sized ear buds with which I really struggle due to v narrow ear canals. But in fact at present I m ok with the standard size they were fitted with. I wanted a 2nd pair of ear pods cause continually loosing my present ones -, one either fell out or I didn’t know where I d put them ! They r older style apple ones , so though I get a cheapy pair to just have a back up and thought Mayb I needed an over ear pair to stop them falling out. Alas no ! Despite changing size of buds to the smallest I had to keep ramming them in my ears to get decent sound. Ratings were mainly good on sound quality but may b those have not tried these understandly due to price. The over ear pods hurt awfully after an hour despite advertised as new innovation for comfort. Noise cancelling was non existent! These were a pair fairing well on the market for non branded pods but really don’t c how ! There were something like £27.99 supposedly cut down from £129 , so thought must b good deal -,NOT! Yet if u purchased another colour other than black there were selling them for lower price anyway. Stupidly went for the black thinking if they were the higher price may b the others r nt as good. Marketing ploy by Amazon !! Having said that did c them on other sites for the £129 price ! They looked nice, had digital display of battery charge. But none of the features of sound quality , noise blocking or transparency , volume down when having conversation and automatically back up gradually when finished talking - no sudden blare to scare the pants off u !! Also there apple pro buds allow u to connect to 2 devices at once ie phone and apple mac plus also still have my old ones connected if one dead and need to use other pair. Can connect to someone else’s devise ( as far as I know / not tried that yet) so u can listen to a programme with another not in yr proximity , prob gr8 for gamers which I am not. Just thought Id let u guys know b4 prime deal finishes on 12/7/25 / only used them for a few mins but was wowed esp with the sound quality , noise blocking ( I have a lot of building noise around me at present , not to mention other people’s kids but these speakers shut it all out without me feeling claustrophobic ! And for the volume to go down and up when talking to someone ( or more like they r insisting talking to u !!) is fab. I was sick of continually having to manually turn volume down when someone insisted on talking to me , back up again then down again when they continued to pipe up 😄. No way had I considered spending this much (£179 / normally over £200 which I defo could not have done !) but buying those cheaper ones has proved buy the best u can ( not always true though ) but in this instance it was. So if ur apple users I definitely recommend. Plus on this particular deal Amazon do a spread payments over 5 months ( subject to t&c, and credit score with Amazon - nothing to fill out but think u do have to use a credit rather than debit to pay ) / which really was the changer for me. Good luck. Try b4 prime deal runs out ! Don’t think u ll b disappointed. Plz NOTE THIS REVIEW IS FOR APPLE AIR PODS PRO ( not 4 or 4 pro or any others -,they do not have same features and another review on the 4 pro I think was not good - plz excuse me if got that incorrect but definitely checked what mine r. Check it out quick ! I sound like an Amazon or Apple sales which I can assure u I m not - and don’t usually ( ever!) write long reviews like this but after being caught with a cheap version and only trying these for 5 mins and found how brillliant they r i thought id let u guys know b4 deal ends Rgds.

Game changer
I've been using the AirPods Pro 2 for a few weeks now, and I'm blown away by the improvements Apple has made. As a long-time AirPods fan, I was excited to see what the new Pro 2 model had to offer, and I can confidently say that it's a game-changer. First and foremost, the sound quality is phenomenal. The new drivers deliver a richer, more detailed sound with improved bass response. The spatial audio feature is also incredibly impressive, allowing me to pinpoint the source of sounds in my music and videos with uncanny accuracy. But it's not just the sound quality that's improved - the noise cancellation is also significantly better. The Pro 2 model uses a new adaptive noise cancellation system that can detect and adjust to different types of noise in real-time, making it much more effective at blocking out distractions. One of the biggest surprises for me was the battery life. Apple claims that the Pro 2 model has up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge, but in my experience, I've gotten even longer battery life. I've easily gotten through a full day of listening without needing to recharge, and I love that the charging case can give me an extra 24 hours of battery life on the go. The design is also a major improvement over the original AirPods Pro. The new earbuds are more comfortable and fit more securely in my ears, thanks to a new silicone tip design. The charging case is also more compact and easy to carry around. Finally, the new features like active noise cancellation and spatial audio are incredibly useful. The ability to customize my noise cancellation settings and adjust the sound to my liking is a major plus. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the AirPods Pro 2. If you're an audiophile or just looking for a reliable and convenient pair of wireless earbuds, these are definitely worth considering. They're not cheap, but they're worth every penny. Pros: Phenomenal sound quality with improved bass response Exceptional noise cancellation with adaptive noise cancellation system Longer battery life than previous models More comfortable design with new silicone tips Customizable noise cancellation settings Cons: None significant enough to mention Recommendation: If you're in the market for a high-quality pair of wireless earbuds, I highly recommend the AirPods Pro 2. They're an investment, but they're worth every penny. Whether you're an audiophile or just looking for a reliable and convenient pair of earbuds, these are definitely worth considering.

Upgraded from Airpods Pro- Love it!!!
As an avid Apple user and a longtime fan of their audio products, I've had the pleasure of using several generations of their earbuds. Upgrading from my older generation AirPods to the new Apple AirPods Pro 2 has been an absolute revelation. While I was already content with the convenience and sound of my previous pair, the Pro 2s are on a completely different level, offering a premium audio experience that genuinely justifies the upgrade. The most significant and immediately noticeable improvement is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The new H2 chip works wonders, and the difference is not subtle. The world around me simply melts away, whether I'm on a busy train, in a noisy office, or just trying to focus at home. It's a noticeable step up from the already decent ANC of the first-generation Pros. The new Adaptive Transparency mode is also brilliant—it lets you hear your surroundings while intelligently dampening harsh, sudden noises, which is perfect for walking down a street or having a quick conversation without fumbling for your phone. The sound quality itself has seen a major bump. The audio is richer, more detailed, and has a wider soundstage. The bass is deeper and more defined without being overpowering, and the mids and highs are crisp and clear. The introduction of Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking creates an immersive, three-dimensional listening experience that makes music, movies, and podcasts feel more alive than ever. It's a feature I didn't know I needed until I had it. The new touch controls on the stem are a welcome addition, allowing me to adjust the volume with a simple swipe, which is a massive quality-of-life improvement over having to reach for my phone. The included USB-C charging case is also a practical and modern update, with a built-in speaker that helps you locate it with the Find My app—a surprisingly useful feature. The improved battery life means I can go longer between charges, and the new XS ear tip option ensures a more secure and comfortable fit for a wider range of users. In conclusion, the Apple AirPods Pro 2 are an outstanding piece of audio technology. For those coming from older generation AirPods or even the first-generation Pros, this is a monumental upgrade. The combination of superior noise cancellation, high-fidelity sound, and a host of smart, user-friendly features makes these a truly exceptional product. They are not just an accessory; they are an essential part of my daily life.

Very good Hearing Aid function
So, I bought these to be used only as hearing aids as I already have what I considered good earpods. After initially doing the Apple hearing test the results indicated a moderate hearing loss in my right ear and moderate in my left ear, however I actually have severe loss approaching profound loss in my right ear meaning I can not hear peoples voices at all, so Apples description of moderate was inaccurate in my non expert opinion but the actual audiogram results were, I would say accurate. I very nearly returned them!!! After playing around with settings for about an hour I was able to hear speech from my left ear that was crisp and clear and really well defined, I could now follow a proper conversation! My right ear however was beyond help for speech but helped considerably on balancing sound out by improving some of the frequencies I could hear, I can now listen to stereo music again and find it enjoyable, so much better than my £350 previous earbuds!. 25 years ago I spent over £4,000 on top end (non digital i believe) custom hearing aids that simply did not work and they would have sat in a drawer! (company refunded me the money) these earbuds though, they actually work, I cant believe it really as I only paid £179 for them on offer! Also would like to point out they don't whistle, they are comfortable for a few hours at a time and battery lasts half the day (I might buy a second pair to swap out when battery runs out as these are so very cheap compared to hearing aids) I include my Apple hearing test picture so you can compare to see if they would help with your hearing impairment. So to conclude, these are the best earbuds I have ever heard and excellent hear aids for moderate hearing loss with even a noticeable improvement in certain frequencies for severe hearing loss.

Phenomenal
I'm new to Apple products, at least since 2007 when I had probably a 6th generation iPod classic. I've had an iPhone for the first time and had it less than a month, but I'd heard good things about these headphones. I've watched many reviews, read many reviews, and spent a lot of time thinking about whether I want to replace my PowerBeats Pro and my Bose QC35ii headphones simultaneously. The Airpod Pro 2 would then become my catch-all headphones for everything - travel, working out, and so on. That and my wife, who hates in-ear headphones, has been eyeing up my Bose headphones ever since she tried them on a plane a year ago. I pulled the trigger on these, as you have probably guessed, to compliment my shiny new iPhone and I'm glad I did. The combination of Lossless audio for Apple Music and the audio clarity these Airpods provide is insane. I'm hearing things in tracks I've listened to for 20+ years that I'd never heard before. The presence is phenomenal. There isn't an overabundance of bass, everything hits just right, in my opinion. Next up, extra features you don't get with similarly priced headphones of this style: Gesture control is not something I ever really plan on using generally, however, with these, something about it just makes it feel normal. Slide up and down to adjust the volume. Press once to pause or play, and hold the press to cycle through different noise control settings. Speaking of noise control, I use transparency mode when I'm out and about walking so I'm also aware of my surroundings. It's quite surreal actually, it's almost like you don't have headphones in and it's just music following you around. I use adaptive sometimes, but I'm not quite sure how that one works properly. I'd use the full noise cancellation in loud spaces, it does an amazing job, maybe even better than the Bose headphones. Add these to what is probably more of a gimmick than anything, but the motion-tracked "spatial stereo" - which while I feel is a gimmick, is a gimmick I love - just adds an extra layer, especially on top of transparency mode. You can be sitting there, hearing a lot of your surroundings, and when turning your head, it's like you're turning away from the source of the music - the only thing a little jarring with this, is that the source is always in front of you, no matter what. If you turn around, it's still there in front of you, which feels a little unnatural. Call quality is a bit iffy in my opinion, on both the receiving of the call and what the caller hears. I've read something about noise isolation and there being some kind of setting to improve this, I may have to have a look into this. Overall it works well enough when in a quiet room, but outside I just get complaints of not being able to hear me. Still, it's a step above anything I've had before where calls were nigh on impossible to the point I wouldn't even attempt because I knew it'd immediately start with complaints. Battery life seems good enough, but I'm hammering it with the spatial audio and transparency modes instead of having them off. I'm not getting the 6 hours from this, I'm more likely to get about 3-4 hours. I've had them on for a couple of hours as I speak and they are at 56%. I could see them lasting close to or maybe more than 6 should I turn these features off. The case is good enough - I don't know if the lid is strong enough to withstand being on a lanyard that might get chucked around a bit. I don't plan on keeping mine this way but I did get a cover to protect the case. I'm genuinely considering getting a lockable one to be on the safe side. The case also being MagSafe and having wireless charging is great - it charges pretty quickly, and charges to the Airpods themselves quickly too. Would I recommend these? At the risk of sounding like an Apple fanatic (I'm not, I don't get along with Macs and plan on sticking with Garmin for my watches), I would absolutely recommend these.

Great sound and features, but pricey!
I’ve been using the Apple AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C) for a a few months now, and overall, I’m impressed with their performance. There are a lot of positives but also a few things to consider. Positives: • Active Noise Cancellation & Transparency Mode: The noise cancellation is top-notch, effectively blocking out most background noise, making it great for commutes or noisy environments. The transparency mode is also excellent when you need to stay aware of your surroundings. • Personalized Spatial Audio: This feature creates an immersive audio experience. I can genuinely hear the difference when listening to music or watching videos that support it. The high-fidelity sound quality really enhances both bass and treble levels. • H2 Chip: This provides faster connectivity and better overall performance. I’ve noticed quicker pairing times and more stable connections with my iPhone and MacBook. • USB-C Charging: Finally, Apple has switched to USB-C, which is convenient as I can use the same charger as my other devices. Negatives: • Price: At £229, they are quite expensive. Although they offer premium features, it feels a bit steep for what is essentially a pair of earbuds. • Fit: While they come with different tip sizes, I found the fit a bit tricky. It took some time to find a comfortable fit, and even then, it occasionally feels a little loose during workouts. Overall, if you’re invested in the Apple ecosystem and love premium audio quality, these are an excellent option. However, if you’re more budget-conscious, you might find the price difficult to justify.

Not Just A Typical "Apple" Yearly Release
For anyone looking to one-up their wireless earphone experience, these do the job - and then some. There are many prolific tech blogs that dive deeper than typical consumer reviews, so I'll keep it simple for you: Apple's AirPods noise cancellation feature on the AirPod's Pro 2 is a clear-cut winner, especially when you compare them to its competitors thus far. Straight out the box, they fit my ears comfortably. Both the AirPods, and the AirPods case, have a good weight to them which is a strong affirmation that you are holding something made to be of good quality. The microphone quality, especially during phone calls, is acceptable; people on the receiving end might describe it as "being spoken to through a tin can - but still legible". In layman's terms, it works just fine. I previously owned a pair of the Sony XM2's (many newer iterations have been made now) and the main complaint that users experienced was the incoherent and inconsistent phone-call audio quality. Whilst they do offer outstanding audio quality in general, the AirPod Pro 2's are pretty much on the same level with the addition of having better phone-call quality (which was a deal breaker for me). My only annoyance is that Apple do not offer a typical equalizer to further optimise the users listening experience. Overall, these are a solid investment for music enthusiasts, casual listeners, audio snobs (that do not care TOO much) and people looking for a solid substitute to their heavy-duty headphones.

Simply outstanding
I've been holding off purchasing a pair of AirPods for a while now, as my hearing isn't brilliant and I thought it would be a waste of money considering I wouldn't get the full benefit of them. How wrong I was! I've tried cheaper earbuds in the past which always sounded 'messy' to me with little definition between instruments. Not so with the AirPods; for the first time in a long time I can distinguish individual instruments and really enjoy music again. How they get such bass response at lower volume levels is beyond me. You really do get the full listening experience. Being hard of hearing, I was interested in the hearing aid functionality available and have been quite impressed. You go through an audiogram session with them (easily done, and fairly similar to the NHS test). The results were very close to my NHS audiogram which was a good sign. I wear an invisible-in-canal hearing aid day-to-day and obviously have to take it out when I have the AirPods in. They've been able to step up and do the job in an impressive way with an impressive boost to my hearing. Bear in mind the battery life will be nowhere near a size 10 hearing aid battery! I walk home from work down noisy, traffic-filled roads and have found the ANC to be outstanding. The world really does go silent when it's activated, allowing music to be played at lower volumes so as to not damage my hearing any further. Transparency mode is brilliant – conversations are clear and my own voice sounds good in my head. Apple really have a perfectly joined-up experience with these AirPods, seamlessly working between iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. They feel well-built with the usual Apple quality. Battery life is good (turning off ANC or Transparency Mode helps it go further, too). The case is great for keeping them topped-up. The 'Find My' feature is a great addition and is very accurate. I rate these AirPods Pro 2's so highly and regret not buying them sooner!

Quality and functionality
Apple can really do good pods. Excellent noise cancelling and the find function is awesome when i dropped the pod in the bed somewhere so it can play a tune to find under the bed etc.

Worth it
Bought these to cancel out noise in extremely loud places i used to work at and they work perfectly. They also fit nice and sound great. Although the spacial audio isn’t great at all imo but i don’t use it anyway so if you’re like me it shouldn’t matter

Klare 5 Sterne. 👍
