Very sturdy and strong
Have this at the top of our basement steps when it shuts it’s locked and very strong. I pushed as hard as I could to make sure it wouldn’t open, and it won’t budge. Make sure it is level and straight or it won’t latch correctly.

I love this gate! It is very sturdy and it works very well with my dog and my infant. It’s easy to install. I definitely recommend a screwdriver. The value for this is all worth it and the size and height is perfect. The lock is very secure. You have to push it down and pull it up to open and to close it. All you have to do is close the door overall it is a great gate and I am glad I purchased it. It is worth what you pay for!
