My iron had been low for years, I’ve taken a lot of other brands but my iron was still low. My doctor recommended these. After taking a bottle of this I did my blood work, my iron is under control now and my doctor told me not to take any more.

Prescribed ferrous gluconate after a stomach bleed because it’s better tolerated than ferrous sulfate. Local stores only carry ferrous sulfate in the pharmacy where it is about $15 for 30. This has the same active ingredients for 80% less money. It is also about the same size and color, just not as much coating or sheen.

If you need Iron and cannot take regular iron then this is for you. It is easy on the stomach and well tolerated for me. Regular iron always made me sick and constipated. This did neither of those things. Great Product.

My lab blood work says this works to improve the iron in my blood and readily available for use by my body. Future tests will show if it improves my ferritin. Until recently, doctors have ignored anemia in women of child bearing age because supposedly all women get anemic due to menstruation. Perhaps this is true in some cases, however, just because a clinician ignores low iron doesn’t mean you should!
