Excellent value. What a deal.
What is the price of this unit? Exactly. And for that, it is an amazing unit. Fully functional right out if the box. Intuitive set up. SIMPLE wiring (took me 30 minutes while distracted to wire everything). Simple install. And it worked the first time. Touchscreen is as precise as my iPad. But not as good as Samsung touchscreens. Could easily sell for double or triple, and it would still be worth it. Fit perfectly in my original 1995 JEEP Grand Cherokee Limited. Does not look out of place like the bigger screen models. Bluetooth, backup camera, etc. What a steal for this price point. Be SURE and get wire harness adapter and installation adapter for your particular car/manufacturer.

Huge upgrade for my truck – wireless CarPlay is smooth and the screen rocks in winter
Slapped this 6.9" single din touchscreen stereo in my truck here in Clearfield, and it's a total game changer. Wireless Apple CarPlay connects right away – no plugging in with frozen fingers when it's 20°F out. The IPS screen is bright and sharp, no glare even with snow reflecting off the dash or low Utah sun. Touch response is quick for Maps, Spotify, or hands-free calls. Bluetooth sounds clear, backup cam kicks in auto when reversing (night vision helps in dark snowy lots), and the included cam was easy to wire. Install took about 45 mins in the garage – matched wires no problem, fits the single din slot perfect. EQ lets me crank the bass for road trips, FM/AM picks up stations fine. For the price, this thing feels premium – way better than the old factory radio. If you're tired of shaky phone mounts, grab this.

Bad wiring on Terminal
The first radio , the backup camera did not work and Amazon did a great job of replacing it right away. The second radio the same thing happened , no backup camera as connections shown in the Operation Manual provided by the seller. I requested contact with the seller to see if they could help in getting it to work. They kept telling me to look at the Manual, their Manual did not tell you anything helpful. I went back and forth with their information person hoping to get answers to my questions but was told they would take it up with the engineers and get back to me. No answers were to come. I had to go out and buy a car antenna, $19 USD to get this to work on my bench. I then checked out the wires on the power Terminal. I found the Pink wire that was to be connected to the Video red power already has 3.5v power comming from the radio. I then tried the wire above the pink wire , which buy the way was not the color that matched Owners Manual. Anyway installing it to the video red power and when I turned on the reverse light the backup light workef. So I reversed the 2 wires in the power Terminal so the pink wire matched the Owners Manual. I shared my hours of testing the radio with the seller and asked for an additional radio for my compensation of buying the antenna and for fixing their errors in their Owners Manual. I thougt this was a small ask for the fix I gave them, but it went on deaf ears. It is a nice radio, but not worth buying unless you want to spend a few hours fixing the sellers errors to get it to work.

Great little radio for the money!
Works great, looks great in my 92 Camaro, and haven't had a whole lot of issues. Took the car down to Florida and it still did great in direct sun and hot temperatures! Audio sounds clear and volume can be turned up loud enough to be heard with the windows down on the highway. Occasionally it will crash while using Android Auto/Carplay though and whatever is playing just loops like a skipping CD for over a minute before the radio resets itself, and there is no way to quickly reset it while driving when it happens. Has not happened often enough for me to warrant returning it or looking into, but it is something to consider. Also only one of the ports works with phone mirroring and it does not do a great job at charging a dead phone up but will maintain the existing charge level during a drive. Menu layout is also a bit weird but easy enough to get used to. Did not test the included remote or backup camera.

Best $50 spent this year
Took a gamble and bought this for my 15-year-old’s future beater daily-driver. Only the best for ours. 😂 Installed in 21 year old Ford Taurus. You have to bypass the head unit in the trunk on these cars 🤦🏻♂️ so the installation was coupled with a more expensive Metra kit that gives you 1 din spot and allows you to hook up the old climate controls. It don’t know if that activated some hidden speaker amplifier 😉 , because this stereo is loud! Really impressed with sound quality. Way better than OEM. In this car, it doesn’t distort until about 95%. Which seems incredible. I couldn’t find any wattage rating listed here or in the “brown-bag” packaging, but if this product is doing that, well, it’s remarkable for the price! CarPlay works fine with the right USB cable (one of mine doesn’t work, one does.) Small regrets (updated in 2025 after several months. pulled one star for flimsy cage and no screws, but especially for abrupt radio source switching when unplugging from phone with no way to disable)... The external microphone is a decoy. On phone calls, everyone complained they could barely hear me. The closer I got to the mic, the less they heard me. Finally, figured out people could STILL hear me just as poorly with it unplugged. The real mic seems to be in the face of the receiver somewhere. Absolute worst part is there's no levels for various sources. No default volume for radio, Carplay, etc. When you unplug your iPhone while using Carplay, the stereo just comes on and the level seems 4000% louder! Kinda grating each time with the new sub and amp this car got. My son has gotten used to turning down the volume first (or pushing the button to mute,) but I often forget and the jolt is quite annoying! Din cage is flimsy. This pulls right out. I couldn’t get it tight enough in the Metra kit and this product didn’t come with screws. Ended up Gorilla taping it. 😂 (I’ll probably find some screws and ditch the Din cage later.) Sadly, this makes it feel very flimsy when operating. Had to add some velcro to the bevels to keep the whole receiver from pulling out when unplugging the USB. Having no screws is less than ideal. Lots of jury rigging. Hope I can find some screws that fit later! Limited audio options. I don’t see any settings for subwoofer. etc. I’m hoping the dual channel (L/R) RCA out will work for a future amp and sub. BUT…there’s no manual so, no idea. (Update: It did work. Used a DSP to wire up 2 amplifier. One to the stock speakers, and one for a sub. Sounds awesome!) Didn’t install the camera. Didn’t try the remote. Overall, its an incredible value for $50! THIS WILL NOT DO CARPLAY OR ANDROID AUDIO VIA THE USB-C INPUT. ONLY WORKS ON THE LOWER USB-A PORT! BUY A $6 CABLE PEOPLE!
