Sealey Sa671 Air Die Grinder

Great tool, works very well.I used this widen the quick hitch holes on a set of pallet forks. It coped with 3/4 inch steel far quicker and more neatly than I had hoped for.It does require a lot of air. I use one of the 'standard' home/garage compressors (50L tank I think) so there was a lot of waiting for the compressor to catch up and I doubt the tool was working at full efficiency.The tool is obviously well made and easy to use.I have problems with my hands and was worried this tool would cause too much vibration and strain, in reality it does not if the tool is spinning at full speed and you let it do the work rather than forcing it.Great would recommend.

Good value for a sealed tool. Would of been 5 stars but comes with a German bsp air line fitting. So buy a British bsp fitting if in the UK

Ordered to remove metal from a 22mm lambada oxygen deep socket which wasn't bored out deep enough internally to allow full insertion.Ordered with 5 piece tool 6mm bit set. Socket was made of CRV so very hard but the Sealey die and the bit removed the metal in a breeze.Die grinder came with quick fit connection 1/4 bsp male as well as a 3mm shank and 6mm connection. The only negative I can think of for the Sealey is it doesn't come with a box. An excellent piece of kit, you just need an air compressor with a large volume of air, mine is 100L and worked fine.Sealey die has machined grooves on its body for a solid grip when in use but very light , just oil it and it will last years.no regrets whatsoever. Buy one don't hesitate.

A solid little die grinder that's built to last. Comes with all the spanner tools and a collet that allows you to use the smaller shanks. Not a lot to go wrong with this tool which is great for something you need to last. My advice is to spend the money on proper bits to use in it , that way your work will be so much easier rather than using the "10 rotary burrs for £9.99" you'd be gone through the 10 of them before you'd even see wear and tear on a proper professional one.

Have to say for the money this is bloody brilliant, uses a lot of air so if you have a small compressor you might require something a bit higher end. But for small jobs it’s been fantastic

Does exactly what it should at a reasonable price

Threads have failed in the end of the unit not happy. However contacted Sealey through Amazon and they were very helpful. Replaced the unit free of charge in less than a week. Therefore have changed my star rating slightly. Still not sure on how reliable it will be yet.
