They were right. This has a sharpened tip that can get into the iPod 6 gen and 5th gen super easy. Took a minute to figure it out but eventually got it. Don’t waste your time on the other cheaper ones. This will open the iPod in no time

What sets this tool apart from the cheap versions is the beveled tip and the comfort grip. With just this single spludger, I was able to open my Ipod Classic following advice from video tutorials. The trick is to use this tool to perform precision strikes at specific points between the front and rear covers to release the clips. Don't use this tool to pry or scrap... just stab in and out to release the clips. No need to use anything to keep the clips open. It might take a few times and a couple of passes but it works. I was skeptical based on the price but it really works and I have no prior experience.

I used this to open a classic ipod 80G to replace the old battery and it worked perfectly. Took me about 10 mins or so. Find the videos on using this tool correctly. Search for "(Easiest Method) Open Apple iPod Classic". The trick is to NOT PRY the case open but to insert the tool directly down into the case to release the clips as you work around the case. Once enough clips are released, the case will begin to pop open WITHOUT prying.

Perfect for opening my old ipod 5th generation. I was a bit spendy. Quality of the metal was nice and much better than the plastic spudgers I have around the garage. Will update the the tool is used on the 6th generation. Grip was comfortable. Unsure what the back part is used for.

Utilized to take apart an iPod Classic and install a new memory card and battery. Worked well but need multiple tools for keeping latches unlatched while opening the other latches to get case open.

I had a computer monitor go out i wanted to open it to find the problem with it. The monitor didn't have screws holding it together it has clips. This iSesamo Genuine Spudger Opening Pry Tool was easy to use and worked well. I would 100% recommend it it's well worth the money.

Proudly said "NOT MADE IN CHINA"! Then there is a small flag below of Italy. My first iSesamo was made in Italy. It was really good, but I bent it by trying to open my Movado watch with it which was not the purpose for which it was made. I have repaired (replaced batteries) 28 iPhones for family, friends and myself with my old iSesamo. Could not afford not to have one on hand for the next phones that I will have to fix, so I immediately bought a replacement. For DIYers like me, you have to have it.
