This is perfect for windshield use if you have a shorter dashboard (such as midsized or compact car). I'm using it currently in a Hyundai Sonata. I have a larger, heavier cell phone and this magnet holds it firm until I'm ready to take it off. The adjustable magnet head makes it easy to get that perfect angle. The arm is thick and firm, yet easily bendable to find the perfect fit for your dashboard needs. It literally DOES NOT bounce and vibrate on bumpy roads/dips, unlike other similar products I have used. The suction cup sticks great! I have only used it one day (12 hours straight!), so I cannot comment on longevity. I will absolutely consider thos brand/model again when it's time to replace (these won't last forever, as they sit in a hot windshield for months/years), but I do expect to get good use. If that changes I'll try to update this review. The only tip that doesn't really have to do with the product that I can give you is that if you do something like food/package delivery, or rideshare, and you use one of these phone holders that require a suction cup on the windshield? Your phone will get hot sitting in that sun; especially if you have it plugged into a charger while you're using it. So keep that in mind that you will need to at least intermittently run the AC through the dashboard defroster vents to help keep your phone cool. You'll know that your phone is getting too hot if the screen doesn't seem as bright. You'll know that it's a cooler temperature when the brightness of your screen comes back. The plus side to this is in much colder weather it leaves your air vents available so your phone is not sitting in front of your heater when you're using it. So that's why I prefer the windshield option over the vent option.

This is a good mount. The suction is strong enough to hold it on the windshield the magnet is strong enough to hold the phone.

Strong suction onto the windshield....can't imagine it falling off. Also strong magnetic grip on my iPhone with its case. Works well for me.

I bought two of these and really like them with one exception. The rubber wrap that encloses the bendable stem has cracked and come loose on both mine. I cut the broken pieces free from the metal stem and have continued to use them. Maybe the maker will use a different material if more people report this.

I’ve got a Hyundai Santa Fe and this fits right in the small sweet spot to the left side of the steering wheel on the front windshield. It works wonderfully stays attached to the windshield, no matter what.

It looks good and stayed attached for two month. When it fell off I just had to open the suction tab, replace it on the dashboard and close the tab and it was back to good! I like the look of this item and that it has an arm that I can adjust when I need to.

If you do door dash or Uber eats this a life saver. Sticks in place better for hands free driving. Every easy to use and re-use. Worth since texting is driving is so high.

Bought one and love it so I bought a second one for our other car. The magnet is strong and I recommend a case with the built in magnet to ensure the phone stays put. The box does come with three extra magnets you could stick on the back of a regular case, but depending on the material of your phone case, it may not stay stuck very well. My husband stuck one on and it came off his case, so we ended up ordering a new phone case for him with a magnet already on the case that made it work perfectly. The holder itself stays suctioned on the dashboard. It has never come loose since I put it on and it’s perfect in both vehicles. I love it so much it’s adjustable. You can turn your phone vertical or horizontal. I should’ve bought this thing years ago highly recommended.

The dash was curved and it didn't stick at all. I got frustrated and did some Googling. I used rubbing alcohol to clean grease or polish off the dash and then I had press down ridiculously hard and close the clamp. It's really stuck on there right now. Impressive. String magnet. I've hit a lot of nasty potholes and the phone hasn't jarred loose. Only.issue is it is kind of expensive. That said it is very well made.

After fighting with multiple cheap, crappy magnetic suction mounts, I decided to spend more in the hopes of getting something good. This was a good choice! The suction cup is also sticky, which makes it stick to the window perfectly - but it's hard to remove and replace, because it sticks so well, and because you'd need to keep the plastic cover for when you remove. So, great for something you attach and leave in place, not great if you want to remove and reattach it or move it around a lot. The magnetic head stays in place without getting loose and needing to be re-tightened, and the magnets are very strong - my phone has never shifted or fallen off.

I actually bought two, but the first was sold with a previous car I owned. The suction power and functionality is easy, however I ran into an issue during my trip to Edmonton. The included metallic plates fell off my Note 9. I'm not sure if it is the adhesion or my phone, but I didn't have this issue previously. This happened one week after I applied the metal plate. Nonetheless it's an easy fix by just replacing it with heavy duty 3m double sided tape, but still a bummer. The actual gooseneck is impressive but you need to periodically adjust the tightener so your phone doesn't go floppy. Probably due to the vibrations in your car loosening up. The gooseneck stays on your dash and doesn't move around which is a big A+. If you got a lighter/smaller phone and need a phone mount, this will work for you. However in my case, my phone may have been too heavy for the metal plate adhesive to stick my phone.
