This Cleaver does a great job! Even use it for cutting vegetables and meats.

The only issue is with the case. It looks cool but doesnt function. It doesnt cover it all the way and everyone in my household has been cut badly by it at least once. It's not an item that fits well in a knife block so the case IS somewhat important.

Love the handle, weight, and look of blade but the blade rust VERY easy. Requires MUCH CARE. I oil the blade after every use but seems like it still wants to rust very slightly in certain areas. ALSO DO NOT HOLD KNIFE IN LEATHER SHEATH IT COMES WITH!!!! The leather will dry out the blade and cause it too rust quicker

Great sheath that came with knife, decent blade, good handle, just not very sharp when it came in.... Not a chef knife! Otherwise decent knife just wish it was sharp when it arrived instead of having to spend and hour on the whetstone with it

As another customer mentioned, it looks as though I was forwarded a defective knife. The tip was broken off, one of the bolsters wasn’t centered, forging and sharpening mistakes, some rust, the worst for me was the blade base sticking out of the sheath waiting to bite into you. Is a real shame too, I like really like the design, the sheath looked awesome, just wasn’t a good fit for the blade. I easily would have spent another 30 or 40 dollars more for a piece without All the flaws. So now I’ve been waiting 3 1/2 weeks for my refund since I sent it back. I guess I’ll keep folks updated, but for now I would advice against purchasing from this seller.

The knife doesn't fit correctly in the case. The back of the knife sticks out, easy to cut yourself
