This product is not as advertised, the tea will leak into your cup and it does a very bad job of keeping the cup free of debris

This cannot be used with hot water, which is ironic since this is a tea infuser. Don't waste your money.

I far prefer loose leaf tea to anything in a tea bag. I have glass pot infuser with a spring top strainer lid which I have used for quite some time. I recently bought these "test tube" infusers to try and I am very impressed with the quality of the tea that results. They seem to bring out the flavor in loose tea better than the glass pot, perhaps because something gets lost in the strainer that goes on top of my original pot. In contrast, this glass infuser produces tea with a discernably purer taste. I also like the simplicity of a single device that can act as an infuser and a stirrer all in one. Some loose tea grounds do manage to escape into the cup, which the glass pot with strainer prevented, but if anything, this helps impart flavor. It does not subtract from the drinking experience. This glass infuser cleans up easily as well with just a quick rinse. Some tea tends to get stuck in the micro slits that allow for diffusion but they still rinse out with ease or can be brushed out. I would recommend this simple and inexpensive infuser to anyone who enjoys a cup of loose tea. I am now drinking some of the most enjoyable tea I have ever had.
