My delivery was a few weeks late. They suggested I cancel and take a refund. The deal was too good to miss. Patience paid off, great bit of equipment.

Got it for $100, so essentially 1$ per pound plus a stand. It did have a fresh rubber Chem smell, but that's just the coating that keeps the rubber from drying. I washed it off and the smell went away after a week. The weights are good. No complaints. Putting the stand together was easy. I don't remember if there were instructions, but I didn't need them.

Oui ils sentent le caoutchouc lorsque qu’on vient de les déballer, comme tous les haltères fabriqués avec le même matériau. Il suffit de les laisser à l’extérieur quelques jours avant de les utiliser à l’intérieur.

Yo creo por eso no llegaba y ya hasta querían cancelar mi pedido.Pero tuve paciencia y valió la pena.Al día de hoy muy bien, no tiene ningún daño o deterioro. Y eso que lo tengo al intemperie, obviamente sin mojarse. Pero si le llega la brisa y no muestra señales de oxidado al momento.Lo volveria comprar si llega a bajar al mismo precio que lo compre! ($1,200) aproximadamente

We have tried every recommended fix on the web and no change in this terrible smell. So unhappy with the birthday gift for my wife. It seems that I’m not alone with this issue .you cannot have this volatile product in your house.

Below you will find my original review. I am updating the review because the smell is so bad, it has pretty much made the weights unusable. I live in a 3,500 sqft house, and the smell is so bad that has permeated the whole house. I had to put the weights outside. I haven’t even been able to use the weights because they smell so bad, and the smell clings to your hands. I would recommend buying something else.Below is my original review.The weights themselves seem pretty good, which in my opinion, is the most important part.The stand came without any instructions, or tools to assemble the unit with. Assembly is pretty straightforward. It would have been nice if the unit would have come with the hex-key and wrench needed to tighten the bolts. Also, there were a few washers that were useless because the middle of the washer hadn’t been punched out completely.As you’ll see in the majority of the reviews, everything in the box smells. The moment I picked up the box I was met with the awful smell. The smell is strong enough to permeate a whole room. My hands smelled pretty bad after setting everything up. The smell is reminiscent of diesel.I wanted to give a two star review because of the smell and lack of tools, but again, I think the weights are the most important part, and the weights are solid.
