Fogarty Pure Wool Duvet - Super King

Arrived earlier than expected, well packaged, the product itself is superb! This duvet is lightweight and does not have a cloud like feel as feather & down, however it creates just the right temperature for you to be comfortable in so you feel warm, snug, and do not have to stick out separate body parts out to cool down. It does not smell, does not cause allergic reactions (am very sensitive to that kind of stuff) and the materials that its made out of are of very high quality. All this and cheaper then the feather & down, and it came just in time as the cold weather kicked in, am enjoying it thoroughly, will definately be ordering another!

First time with a wool duvet. I hope the wool was gathered humanely because that was part of my reason for not having feather and down again. The price of this one is excellent when compared with John Lewis and Soak & Sleep. It's only late September and maybe we'll need another layer in the cold winter, if so I'll layer in our 5 tog down duvet. But so far my husband and I are sleeping well and enjoying the steady warmth. I'm amazed others find the duvet not providing warmth. Ours is odourless so far as I can tell. It also doesn't make a noise that annoys us. And the pockets lie flat. And it fills our supering duvet cover neatly. I really like the slight weight with non oppressive warmth. I'm inclined to believe the duvet is temperature regulating because I've previously been another mature (ahem) lady kicking off the duvet because I'm boiling or grabbing it over me because I'm cold. Unless unforeseen problems develop I'll be getting wool duvets from now on.

GORGEOUS! I am so very happy with the duvet. Pros, It keeps you snug and warm as described. It is very light weight Great cream colour with triangular pattern. Cons The duvet is bigger than suggested like mentitled in some other reviews. I ordered a superking size and cannot find a duvet cover to fit it. It's easily 2" each side larger! This makes a huge difference. Still after saying that ! I love this so much and i just use a top sheet and throw over. If you asked My husband would he part with this duvet, he would say not if you paid him haha! 4☆ due to sizing issue.

I have waited a while to write a review on this. The reason I purchased it was because of all the reviews that it helped by regulating your body temperature. I have been suffering badly with hot flushes at night and saw this as a solution to this awful problem. I can honestly say that it has not worked at all not one bit. People have said about the sound it makes yes it does and no you don’t get used to it and it doesn’t soften either. Sorry I have to write a negative review. I could have put up with the noise and how heavy it is if it had worked but sadly not

I'm not one of those people who are blessed with sleeping easily, but since getting this duvet I'm doing so much better. It's thin, but as promised plenty warm - coldest March in my lifetime and we keep the bedroom cool, toasty once you warm up. Unlike every other duvet I've had I can happily snuggle right under to warm up, it doesn't feel claustrophobic. Although my head does tend to come out I don't overheat and end up sticking random limbs out to cool down as I have always done with other duvets. The only down side is it's so comfy I'm learning why some people find it so difficult to get up - never been a problem for me before! Well worth the money. I have also invested in 100% cotton bedding as I had been warned that mixing polycotton bedding may negate the benefits so if you have one and don't find it amazing check you've got the right sheets and duvet cover.

Have tried emailing fog arty direct as I am on my second duvet due to the fact that the wool in one f the pocket all gathers together and looks like lump in bed. But nobody seems to be interested in emailing us back. Waste of money if the company cannot even answer emails. I love my duvet would just like the problem rectified.

Very fast delivery and product as described/very comfortable. Shame British wool couldn't have been used rather than wool from New Zealand or Australia. Wool in UK is virtually worthless and gets thrown away

The duvet looks thin when you first unpack it and smells a bit funky. After a few nights you realise that the thin appearance means nothing. It keeps my husband cooler and me a little warmer and the smell disappears after a little while. Benefits to the duvet include the ability to wash and tumble dry it albeit you'd need to find an industrial sized washing machine for the super king size. Would recommend to anyone who find other duvets like down filled an annoyance. Not recommended for those looking for a duvet that gives the appearance of soft and fluffy luxury when the bed is fully made.
