Review: Love it, got it to replace Kwikset - I have had a wifi Kwikset lock for a while that I have been wanting to replace. I came across this one at an airbnb and wanted to give it a try. though I only bought the Bluetooth version, it connects to apple home and I can use the Home app on my iPhone to monitor, and open and close remotely. This does not show me the door sensor which id like to see an update but for now this will work until I decided if I want to buy the wifi module. It looks great, it's fairly quiet and is super quick at scanning the finger print. having the keypad option is great as well to setup access on the fly without having to record their fingerprint. Highly recommend !

**Q: Does this new Yale Assure 2 Touch support the latest Zwave modules if inserted? If not will you be making a Zwave version for the Yale Assure 2 Touch?**
A: I believe I have read a mention of the fingerprint "Touch" version is to support Z-Wave in the future. But currently, the 500 Series modules for Assure Lock 2 and the Assure Lock 2 that comes with the 700 Series modules does not work properly on the Touch version of this lock. The lock recognizes the module and I am able to pair to my Z-Wave system. But functionality is erratic and lock status is often incorrect.

**Q: Does the keypad need to be attached to the door or can you mount it somewhere else?**
A: Because of the integrated deadbolt, it needs to be mounted directly to the door.

**Q: Can you turn off autolock and just lock it with fingerprint when wanted?**
A: Yes, absolutely!

I have had a wifi Kwikset lock for a while that I have been wanting to replace. I came across this one at an airbnb and wanted to give it a try. though I only bought the Bluetooth version, it connects to apple home and I can use the Home app on my iPhone to monitor, and open and close remotely. It looks great, it's fairly quiet and is super quick at scanning the finger print. having the keypad option is great as well to setup access on the fly without having to record their fingerprint. ### ⭐ I guess third times isn't the charm

I ordered two of these and they both don't work. They'll constantly work their way out of spec to where when it unlocks itself it will think that it's still locked in the auto lock won't re-engage one of them just shuts off all the time for no reason. And yeah need to take the batteries out and put them back in for it to reset. I've asked to get them both warrantied and replaced but they'll only send me one and every single time I call support it's multiple hours of troubleshooting. Sending in evidence them telling me they'll help me with both of them and end up only helping me with one to have the same issue. I really really really wish I would have done another solution because Yale fails! The doors that I have them installed on they're 100% installed correctly and have completely uninfringed movement but the motor just turns a slightly different distance every time and after a week you'll guaranteed have a lock that will say it is locked when it isn't or vice versa, which I can't trust to have on my front door.
