These are great. Easy to put together & while they sort of “snap” vertically, I find it much easier to zip tie them first (vertically) while still flat & then roll and snap them around. Nice that you can adjust to whatever size you need to fit around your trunk. Does a great job of protecting our trees from the lawn co’s weed whacker as well as from deer and other critters. We’ve bought them twice, so clearly pleased. Our first set is still in great shape from several years ago. Worth the $ in our opinion.

I needed a product to protect the lower trunk on my newly planted tree. Ordered this online and received it in a few days. It is well made, sturdy and easy to put together and install around the new 3" dia. tree trunk. It should stop animals from chewing on the tree bark and possibly killing my new tree. Will buy again. I ordered this as an alternative to tree wrap! The product was simple and quick to install! I used a total of 8 pieces to wrap my maple tree trunk because the trunk was getting too much sun and the bark was peeling. I thought my tree was dying and so I contacted an arborist who said my tree was fine but needed tree wrap to protect it from getting too much direct sunlight in the summer until the tree gets big enough to shade itsself. I am really happy with this product and I like that I can take it apart in the fall and winter months and then reuse it in the hot summer months. I got the green which looks awesome in my yard! It will be super easy to store flat in my garage when I’m not using it. Also for the 8 pieces I installed, I used 14 of the little zip ties that came included. The zip ties aren’t very sturdy but I think they are just for extra reinforcement and look to get the job done! Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase!

It was kind of frustrating to put together, but basically does the job.

I have purchased this product more than once to cover all my trees and my neighbors as it protects the bark from my cats using the tree as a scratching post. Works great.

This product was easy to assemble and will definitely help protect our tree from sun scorch. It comes with six pieces, and I needed two per layer. I ended up having to order three packs.

I grow spider plants hydroponically out of my fish tanks, but one of my cats likes to nibble on them, which leads to sharts all over the house. This is the only thing I could find that looked like it could fit atop the tanks and protect the plants. My only worry is that they can easily tip over in my situation if the cat got half a mind to tamper with it. That won't affect my rating as they aren't really designed for my purpose.
