I originally thought this was a good-quality sugar dispenser. However, time has revealed some issues with the product. The primary concern is the screw-top. Its base is actually quite sharp and I've ripped my finger on more than one occasion when screwing the two sections together after filling the dispenser. Putting both sections (steel and glass) together can be a struggle and on many occasions sugar just poured out between both sections. I have a different dispenser and, in comparison, the alternative is smoothly finished and screws into the glass easily and correctly. Over time, the sugar hardens and lodges in the actual pourer thus rendering the dispenser ineffective. Compared to my other dispenser, the top feels cheap, as if it was polished tin. I was going to give the item to a charity but I don't want another person ripping their fingers, so I just dumped it in the bin.
