Solid product could do with a couple of catches to hold the top on but still 8/10 for quality..

These were the only ones I could find at a sensible price. They seem to be a bit slack in use but that doesn't stop them locking. The screws are really cheap and nasty - so screw in with case in case yu ever need to get them out again.

Great quality for the price. I fitted these to a cupboard that I want to keep my Granddaughter out of. Very easy to install and adds that extra bit of security and peace of mind

I’m lucky that I used these to lock a panel on a hatch, when the lock failed I could undo the three others and slide it out. If I had used on a door it would mean breaking the door off and replacing it. They were very cheap and you get what you pay for to a certain extent, but these are not fit for purpose. They have been used for less than 3 months and are on a bar hatch in the garden so have only actually been locked and unlocked a handful of times. They move a lot in the casing so don’t line up. When locked they are at a 5-10 degree angle from the perpendicular so are difficult to align and lock. I had to keep the keys in them to stop the barrels swivelling and becoming impossible to fit the keys. Honestly, I’ve never said this about anything I have reviewed, but stay away. Spend the extra money to buy better quality with a CE standard as it will cost a lot more in the future if you use these.

Sturdy as specified and promptly delivered

The design is poor as inside the lock, to make the barrel drive in and out, it has a single toothed piece of metal that forces it either way. The issue is, this toothed metal part can rotate within the barrel and consequently means you can end up not being able to turn the key or move the barrel in and out. Thankfully having read similar reviews l made the hole behind the front plate, slightly larger, so I was able to take it off and rotate the metal back in line. Very poor though and will end up having to buy a different lock.

I ordered this set along with another, more expensive one from the UK that was going to take longer to arrive. I knew this set probably wouldn't be as nice as the other one, but figured that it would still work for my needs. When it arrived, I was very disappointed in the quality. I immediately noticed that the screw holes in the top plate weren't aligned with the counter-sink holes for either set, as seen in the photo. The top plate was slightly bent, and the corners were sharp on one side and rounded on the other. The bolt isn't set straight and comes out at a slight angle, and as a result it has a bit of wiggle to it. The bolt itself isn't even a solid piece of metal! What I found most irritating, though, was how poorly the top plate was attached to the cylinder that houses the bolt - the pieces are only attached with solder at three points, which are visible as small blemishes in the photo. It's possible to see light between the two pieces almost all the way around. It seems like it would be very, very easy for the cylinder to break off with minor application of force, leaving it to float freely inside the door or fall out. When the other product arrived (ERA Door Security Bolt - also on Amazon), there was no comparison whatsoever. The ERA set felt like true door hardware with a solid brass bolt, and this product looked like cheap junk that would fall apart in no time. The ERA set was more than double the cost after international shipping, but to me it was worth spending a little extra for something that would look much more professional when installed and be far more durable. I returned this product and will be using ERA going forward.
