Emotiva XRCA .5 Meter RCA Interconnect

Cables are, arguably, the least glamorous part of any Stereo or Home Theater setup. After all, once they are hooked up, they are hidden from view, and basically forgotten and unappreciated except, perhaps, by the hard core audiophile. I decided, based on various articles with glowing reviews about the Emotiva XRCA cables, to give them a try.First, Emotivas mission statement is to make reference quality audio products affordable to those who want the best quality sound without taking out a second mortgage to do so.They seem to be succeeding at this, as many glowing reviews for various products they manufacture can attest.My music listening station is all computer based, and is as close to audiophile quality as I can get it.I use the JRiver Media Center at 24 bit output, streaming to an HRT Streamer II+ USB DAC. That goes to a NHT Passive volume control, which outputs to two M Audio CX5 Studio Monitors, both powered separately. I had "cheaped out" on the RCA cable runs, and based on some extremely positive reviews, I purchased The Emotiva cables.The quality is evident even without close examination, the cables have a solid feel, the jacket is thick and sturdy, and the ends are soldered.All I can offer is a subjective view, but to my ears, these cables brought an amazing dimension to the sound stage. The frequencies, especially in the low end were crisper and punchier. For the price, I don't see how you could go wrong.

As with all Emotiva products, I am very satisfied with the quality of this item. I will purchase more in the future.. This is a high quality interconnect cable.

Ordered 2, 1 of them literally stopped working after 6 months. Sounds crazy, but its true, one passes a continuity test with a multimeter, the other does not. I have several Emotiva amps that I love, seeing a cable stop working is truly ridiculous.

This is just about the right cable length to comfortably connect two sources without ending up with an excess of cord. The connection is very clear. No signs of wear or tear yet. Good cable.

Sounds epic! Good quality!

These are premium cables right? Well the quality control would not suggest that. I ordered two cables. One cable was almost a full inch SHORTER! This is a huge problem when you're doing managed cable runs. I ordered these to fit my application. They are a full inch off spec! I contacted Emotiva to inform them of the issue. No word back after over a week. I'd suggest looking elsewhere for you're cables.

These cables are absolutely excellent. I have numerous AudioQuest and Monster interconnects and I like these the best because they have exceptional RCA connectors that fit snugly, but remove easily. The nylon braid jackets are very well done and The sound is open, clear, tight and wide in the soundstage. A very good produc for an even better price. Additionally, Emotiva has customer service which is very responsive and helpful

The chutzpah! Stereo means two channels, correct? Here's a company that packages one at a time. What appears to be a good price is classic bait and switch, requiring an additiu purchase for the unusual desire of a stereo pair. Double the price, double the annoyance. Clever.Never again
