The Silly Chicken: English-Urdu Edition (Teaching Stories)

I bought this for my classroom library (2nd grade ESL kids). Most of my students were Spanish speaking and the school bought a bunch of bilingual books for them. But, my lone Urdu speaking student didn't have anything. So, I let him borrow it. He was thrilled. He read it to his baby sister, his mother, and then told me all about it. According to him it was a fun story that made him laugh. And it helped him practice reading in Urdu. Win win!
