While this is not marketed as an exercise bench that is actually what I purchased it for. I wanted something that would look nice in my family room. I’m not a hardcore gym rat but if I want a more hardcore workout then that’s where I go. I needed something that would work for me at home for when I don’t go to the gym for some reason. I like that I can store items such as small weights and exercise bands inside. I can probably put light weights on the metal shelf too. I don’t plan to put heavy weights on or in it. It looks as pictured. It is made out of metal and plastic (not wood). The cushion seems comfortable . I’m short so I can lie back on it to press dumbbells. It was easy enough to put together. All pieces are numbered and connecting pieces are lettered. Instructions are clear and even someone who can’t read can easily follow them. My only suggestion is to use an actual Phillips head screwdriver instead of the provided tool; otherwise five stars for instructions and ease of assembly. I did need my husband’s help to install the top, I held it while he screwed; otherwise, I did it myself. Item came well packaged and was delivered promptly. I am looking forward to making good use of it.

This product is well-constructed and robust. It served as an ideal storage solution for blankets and shoes on the bottom rack of our travel trailer, offering excellent value through its versatile functionality and perfect fit within our available space. Assembly was straightforward.

Solid bench with great storage. Took a little over an hour for my husband to put together using his own tools. My son really likes it with the storage and shoe rack.
