What sizemy husband has a 47" waist, 42 mid section, weighs around 215lbs and is 5'9". I was going to order the 3XL but will the torso be too long?

I’m a 6-ft 260-lb male. I put in 90 minutes daily on water aerobics, but I’m still fat and a 4XL fits me just right. If you’re like Mark Spitz or Michael Phelps, I’d suggest 2XL. If you’re like me, try a 3XL.

The large makes me feel squeezed in the chest area and tight around arms. the xl is form fitted with slight give in certain areas. which is better?
