Tumia LACPanama Hat - Rollable - Natural with Brown Ribbon 54cm

My wife bought me this for Christmas and didn't realise that I had such a big head (very surprised at that!).I rang the supplier and the person I spoke with was incredibly helpful. There was absolutely no problem with me sending it back and them sending me a larger one. The whole process took less than a week after I had contacted them. Highly recommend them.

I ordered the hat to take to Hong Kong as part of wedding ensemble and was delighted with the look, feel and weight of the hat when it arrived. Made from natural material it was bright white - as expected. It is soft to touch and of exactly the shape I wanted - a sort of fedora style. As I was flying I also bought a carrying tube and with some trepidation rolled that hat - as per the included instructions - and packed it all in my suitcase. On arrival I removed the hat and unrolled. Within a few hours the hat had returned to its original shape all by itself. There was one slight crease as a result of the folding however this too disappeared by itself within a couple of days. The hat itself was a great success at the wedding - being very comfortable and light to wear. Being a natural woven product some air circulation helps keep the head cool. For the return I rolled again and have just got home and am now waiting for the hat to return to its original shape.I really recommend the hat for its style and quality together with the service and advice offered by the supplier. I supplied measurements when ordering and the hat has proven to be a good fit.

I have been the proud owner of a 100% tequillo Panama hat for the last 8 years after being purchased from M&S. The hat has accompanied me all over the world on vacations and it has always looked as good as the day it was made even after it has been put in suitcases. As it is now showing slight signs of wear with a small split in the straw around the crown, I have decided to replace it with a new Panama hat. On being handed the cardboard box containing my new Tumi genuine handwoven Fedora Panama hat I began to wonder if there was in fact a hat inside the box, and someone had possibly forgot to pack it, due to the unbelievable lightness of the package. On inspection the hat was like receiving an original Leonardo or Van Gogh painting. It was protected by paper and its sheer quality, mystifying beauty and workmanship shone through even before I removed the hat from the box. It fitted perfectly at 60cm and it was hard to think that I had a Fedora hat on my head due to its incredible lightness.I am so grateful to these highly skilled artisans in Equador whose skills and attributes have allowed these beautiful headpieces to flourish since the early 1500s. I am sure that my new Panama will give me many years of comfort, style, and protection in worldwide destinations still awaiting visiting by my wife and myself.

This is a really great Fair Trade Panama Hat. Which I ordered after reading the Amazon reviews!But.... I ordered a 59cm as I have quite a large head (which my husband had measured before ordering) speedy dispatch, so highly recommend them for that. However, that hat was too loose, so I went through the excellent Amazon returns procedure and paid an additional £3.50 postage for an exchange item. Which I thought was quite fair and reasonable.The replacement 58cm hat arrived, but this was too small, My own fault, I only wish I had taken reference of the specific measurements of the 59cm. because there was a significant difference in size and had I done so, I could have taken this up with Tumi.I have eventually purchased a Panama Hat from a hight street store, which is fine, but I had specifically wanted one that rolled and could be transported whilst travelling.The down side, because of the box size is that I have had to spend £6:00 + twice to return the item.I suppose by the law of averages of the amount I order on line I was bound to have a bad experience sooner or later.A pity because as a supporter of Fair Trade I would have preferred to purchase from Tumi.Once I had returned the second (replacement) hat to Tumi they came back to me with an apology for my experience, refunding my return postage costs.So all in all I did not get the Fair Trade Panama Hat , but let's be honest that is probably more to do with the aize of my head and the fact that I have lots of hair, than a design problem with the hat.In conclusion, Great product, Very good company to dealt with, so highly recommend this product!Everyone considering purchasing a Panama Hat (and they look very stylish) should buy one from this company!I would be more than happy to dealt with them again!

The craftsmanship is there. Unfortunately mine had a slight discolouration and open end on the brim. Amazon refunded thankfully.

What can I say about my Tumi hat, except excel in my recommendation to buy this magnificent hat. I have quite a large head, but I have to say my head fits the rest of my rather large cumbersome body. In the past getting a hat to fit my bald head has been difficult. The order took just a few minutes, measure the circumference of your head just above the ears, in trepidation I flicked through the list of measurements on their site & bingo there was the measurement for my head. I couldn't believe it, gosh surely this couldn't be this simple. Delivery was efficiently quick & the day of unveiling my Tumi hat lovingly packaged was with a bated breath I can tell you. I drew it out of its box & placed it on my head & actually whooped out loud in delight, as I admired myself in the mirror it felt & looked like part of me. It fitted like a glove, in fact so much like a glove I didn't want to take it off & sat rather proudly at my desk wearing a big grin whilst I banged away on my keyboard. I love my Tumi hat & must say it's been one of my best buys. It's beautifully crafted & I urge each & everyone of you thinking about a hat to buy this I truly cannot recommend it highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

Io posto il 56 e avevo ordinato la taglia 56, ma ho dovuto restituirla perchè troppo grande. Quindi ho ordinato la taglia 55 e quesra va bene. Il cappello è perfetto, leggero e ben fatto, ma, come ho detto, le taglie non corrispondono; sarà stato un caso, ma se è la norma, per gli acquirenti sarà un bel fastidio.
