Abra Green Tea Body Lotion 16fl oz

Super lotion, where have I been? Hard to find out there, will be buying more. My skin is soooo soft after using this thank you !

I don't write many reviews. There are many great products and fewer rave reviews. But this is unfortunately an instance of a "once great product" that has fallen the way of cheaper ingredients, more profits and the like. Quite some time ago I fell in love with a product called "Cellular Detox" therapeutic lotion by ABRA. It had all organic ingredients in their Organic Herbal Formulation: Comfrey, Dandelion and Burdock... This was an incredible body lotion. I have very dry skin and rough hands due to the work I did. This (past) formulation was the only lotion/creme I have ever found that actually repaired my dry and damaged skin. I ordered it continually for years.Then, recently, I was down to my last bottle. I searched everywhere on Amazon (primary go-to source), ABRA's website and more. Could not find the original product anymore. I did find something "similar" by ABRA: Green Tea therapeutic lotion. It too alludes to Organic herbal formula. But here's the kicker: the original had organic aloe barbadensis leaf juice; it's replacement is "not" organic, even though the label still says organic herbal formula. This "new" green tea formula (with the fancier labeling bla bla) doesn't do ANYTHING for my dry skin. A waste of time and money. Hence the "1" star.I emailed the company expressing my concern and wanting the original back. I never heard from them. Perhaps someone in responsibility in this "newly packaged" company will do something right: getting some integrity back and good products once again.I would really like my old formula back and be able to write a great revisionist review and have great skin and hands again!Here is a picture of the new bottle formula (on left) and the old bottle formulation (on right). If you have or can find the original, you're lucky, cause I can't...Update:It's now been a couple weeks since my last "scourge" review of the Alba Green Tea Therapeutic Lotion. When I first tried it, I hated it. That's plain. Their original formula was fabulous, plus the fact that customer service "wasn't." However...I have been using the newer product every day and - finally - it started working on my skin. The original formula was definitely more organic and better, but, I have to say (and eat some crow in the process) this green tea stuff is starting to heal some pretty rough skin. So... It may not be the great product the original was, but it also isn't the ogre I made it out to be either. Just saying... (Bumped ratings from 1 star to 3.)

My favorite lotion but I wish it wasn't so expensive. It leaves my skin feeling softer than ever without being greasy. Smells great too!I just ordered this again and this time it looks like the bottle was left out in the sun? The packaging is faded and the lotion consistency is way thinner than it was in the last bottle.

I ordered this for the green tea since it’s supposed to reduce redness but I was intrigued by the lemongrass scent. Just got it today and I have to say I am impressed. I cook with lemongrass a lot and have to say the smell is right on. I was pleasantly surprised. It is very hydrating but not greasy. I would definitely purchase this again.

I love this lotion, although, I did have to get used to the lemony smell at first. I swear it has protected my skin from sun damage because I haven't gotten more freckles since I started using it.

I really love the smell of this lotion. My friends at work ask to use it all the time. I will probably buy more for gifts, etc.! You get alot of lotion for the money. I'm happy with my purchase :)

This lotion dried my skin about 10 mins after use. I feel like its purpose concerning the ingredients can do my body justice but the dryness of the skin couldnt allow me to give it a chance.

Love this cream
