I used to work in a hospital laboratory which used lophene to disinfect critical areas. I'm retired now and my lophene stash is low and I can't get a small amount.So I've been experimenting with different cleaners and disinfectants. The active ingredients in this one is the same as products used in OR's.I also ordered another brand with these same active ingredients but this one is more concentrated and will go a long way.The wintergreen scent is pretty mild, I actually use it with pine cleaner because I like a heavy pine scent, the wintergreen blends well with it.This jug will go a long way, I think I will be able to sanitize my house for the rest of my life.

I clean house and yard had parvo gems killed the parvo. Gems whole house go stuff Ease to use. Works well

When I looked up the 2 active ingredients online it told me that one of the uses for it was sterilizing surgical implements, or more specifically, "It is a broad spectrum biocidal against bacteria and fungi and can be used as disinfectant cleaner for linen, recommended for use in hospitals, hotels and industries. It is also used in gynaecology, surgery, ophthalmology, pediatrics, OT, and for the sterilization of surgical instruments, endoscopes and surface disinfection." It also mentions that there is some health risk when these 2 ingredients are combined together, so doing a bit of research may be helpful and may encourage you to wear some gloves while using it. Definitely read all the instructions and the safety warnings on the bottle!I recommend anyone who is going to use this disinfectant look up the 2 active ingredients; I can't provide a link due to Amazon's policies (no links to external pages) but I can give you the text of the names that you can cut and paste into your own search engine:didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloridedimethyl benzyl ammonium chlorideThis is super-concentrated so a jug is probably going to last me nearly forever. So far I've been using this around the house to disinfect things, fairly similarly to using dilute bleach water. After reading the info online about the chemicals I might be a bit overcautious with gloves and a mask but I haven't had any problems yet. It works great for cleaning bathrooms and I could pour the diluted mix down the kitchen sink to disinfect the garbage disposal.If we have another virus scare I have more than enough of this powerful disinfectant to handle cleaning doorknobs and just about everything else.

Highly recomend. I have used a few diffrent brands over the years and this is by far my favorite for a nice deep clean

Been using for years, little goes a long way!

It may clean and disinfect well, but it can cause irreversible eye damage, if it would happen to get I your eyes.I am not willing to take that chance with my employees. I tried to return and it is now returnable.My small business wasted $50!

Smells great and I usually just use the same amount as other brands. So I can’t really say a little goes a long way … I wish there was a MEASURING LINE ON THE BOTTLE, just to make things easier so that way you don’t just dump the cleaning solution into a bucket like other cleaners
