Instant Calmer Healing Pad, Mini Square

After I hurt my toe last year, for some unknown reasons, I have become extremely sensitive to radiation and I need to wear an anti radiation shirt to block radiation from coming into my body when I sit in front of my computer, and I can't put my cell phone close to my body. I have to use the speaker.I wrapped this pad around my knee, after awhile, I started feeling very uncomfortable, the same feeling as when I am sitting in front of my my monitor without wearing an anti-radiation shirt ( I always sit 5 feet away from my monitor).I think this pad is a good product and works for many people, and it is well made, but it may not be a right product for people who are very sensitive to radiation.

Had it a week working on surgery location. Works perfectly. The only neg: Can't turn off the controller with the power button, must unplug it. I connected it to a switched outlet.

It's a good heating pad. I use it on my back and my calf and ankle and had no trouble applying it. For just plain muscle pain it is probably very, very good. But as to my sciatic pain, it did nothing more than what a hot microwaved towel placed on the soreness did. Additionally, like everything in this world today, it really is overpriced. I would recommend it for regular muscle pain, etc. (I like it better than a regular heating pad), but have found, sadly, that nothing works where sciatica is concerned.

In my opinion, these folks make a real reliable and good product. I bought this because on occasion,I get a slight twitch in my back that can last for as much as a week. This little pad is just the ticket for the area affected. I have "in the past" purchased the medium version of this pad for my wife. She has terrible back problems and this has been the best heating pad that she has ever been able to get hold of that helps her the most. The way the heat is dispersed with these jade stones is"I think" the real secret to this product.What ever it is though, it's better than any heating pad I have used. Yes, their products are a little pricy, but if you ever try them I think you'll have the same feeling of comfort and reliability. If you ever do have a problem with the pad, these folks are real good to work with you too. I did have a control to malfunction and they sent me a new pad and control. Thanks.

These heating pads are great. I have been using this brand for many years. My biggest complaint is they are outrageously expensive and have a life use of about 1 year. After that, they start getting burning hot no matter what setting you put them on. For the first 10-11 months, they are great

I purchased this because it is a "healthier" version of a heating pad. I have no clue if it is the jade stones heating up or the negative ions (or a combo of both), but I have experienced immediate pain relief in some instances from this soothing heat - and relief in some areas where a "regular" heating pad provided no relief. I feel like it does provide a calming effect as well, likely from the negative ions. I appreciate that it comes with the velcro strap so it can be held in place where needed. I originally purchased the larger size version of this heating pad, but I use this small one more often. I would note that the measurements listed are a bit too large. Even edge to edge it is not the size listed - and the heated center area measures 6.75" x 4". I like this so much I am contemplating ordering a second one.

If you are searching for "far infrared" heating solution, this is NOT the one you want to get. Even though it is advertised as such, it has nothing to do with far infrared technology. Granted heat is infrared energy but, the product misleads buyers into thinking that it is the type of penetrating heat that is generated by more expensive solutions that contain Infrared LEDs in the infrared spectrum.This is a "generic heating pad" with stones / marble or ceramic discs attached. It is no more than that no matter what the manufacturer claims.It works just as any regular heating pad would; nothing extraordinary. I hope this review helps someone who might also be misled like I was.

it bought this size and also the size small of this heating pad. I really like the way the stones feel but I have to admit that since I am on the skinny side I need an extra layer to be comfy. The pad has a built in strap for times you want to strap it to a knee or shoulder. This comes in handy when I keep getting up to let the dog out and in. And then back out. And back in again.The remote is alittle different than most I have seen but it is pretty easy to use, The only thing I would change would be to have a feature where it stays on till I turn it off.
