Got 4 sold 2 to friends. They liked them so much I had to purchase this again. If stranded, they will be great to build a tent, use as a weapon and possibly save a life. Only thing I would dream of asking for is fire building sting woven into the lanyard. Hope I never have to use it. So for now I hook it to my pocket Microtech knife and it helps yanks my knife out fast. In the summer I use it keep flies away or tease the cat. Thanks for reading

These things are *huge* ! They are not only really long, but the square braid is very substantial in width. Reading the measurements online vs holding one "in hand" are completely different. I would imagine these will dwarf most EDC-sized knives (e.g., ones that are 5 inches or less when closed), so keep that in mind. They are double the length and easily 5x's heavier than my other "regular" paracord lanyards. Even on my BM Vicar and Adamas they are somewhat overpowering. They seem to be pretty well made though, give you a ton of surface area to grip, and for the price (currently around 3-dollars each) you can't go wrong. If they made them in other colors , I would definitely pick up another set or 2 !Update: By cutting off the "tassels" (and gently melting the ends over a flame to prevent fraying) it reduced the lanyard to a much more "reasonable" size ... almost 1/2 the original length now! IMO, it looks much better this way.

Size is really very long

This product is good quality but not my style, they are very large for a EDC knife and I actually damaged the cord trying to pull it through my Benchmade Griptillion lanyard hole, I will not return because I damaged it. I might use one on my fixed blade.

I like the size of these the work well with my larger fixed blade knives.

While these are very well made they are a bit big for most folding knives. These would be better suited for large fixed-blade knives, hand-axes and machete's and other zombie disposal tools...
