Best purchase I’ve made with printers so much so I got one for my work office and one for my dad’s home office. They work amazing, quick, easy to use and the wireless function is perfect! For my job those are very important details and this hits a home run on each one’s huge value for the money, features are simple but so effective, color prints look amazing. Both home and office printers are perfect. Specially the scanning portion! Quick clean and clear.

I've been using this printer for both work and home, and it's been great. The print quality is really sharp, especially for color documents, and everything prints pretty quickly. Setup was easier than I expected, and connecting it to Wi-Fi only took a few minutes. I also like having the scanner and copier built in, and the automatic duplex printing saves a lot of paper. It feels solid, has a nice-sized paper tray, and has been reliable so far. Overall, I'm really happy with it.

***Update after several months with a new reason this printer is the worst thing ever.... it counts pages, not toner. When the printer "thinks" the toner is empty, it just stops printing. There is no way to reset the page counts (unlike in previous Brother printers). There is no way to bypass this. You can't just print in black and white when a color cartidge is out. It just stops. There is no printing until you install a new cartridge. So, make sure you have plenty on hand because this sucker will stop and there's nothing you can do about it. If you are mid-big presentation or report? Too bad. Stop and go to the store because this printer won't budge. These toner cartridges have "chips" on them now in order to prevent you from reseting the page count. And get this: it counts pages if you aren't printing in black and white! You can lift it out and feel how heavy it is and know there is plenty of toner in there but - nope! You printed too many pages so now your printer won't let you do anything. All to make you have to spend a gazillion dollars on new toner cartridges even though you probably have months left of toner. Ridiculous. This is the worst product I have ever purchased. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I should have listened to the reviews. This printer stopped working after 7 months. Never was able to get the bluetooth stuff to work. Two days ago I got an error message saying I had installed a "non-genuine toner cartridge" when I had not changed anything or touched any toner since receiving it. It was still the original toner it came with. It wouldn't let me move past the error message to continue printing (unless I wanted to "void my warranty," which I was not going to do since it was already having issues). Off to customer service I go! The first attempt with customer service resulted in a disconnection (the agent just stopped responding... good times). He said I could just click "no" and keep right on printing, but the video shows that was not the case. After that he just disappeared and didn't respond anymore so I had to start a new chat with another agent. The next agent at least tried, but took an hour, had me disassembling the dang thing, and didn't solve any problems. They are sending me a new cyan cartridge, but I'm not feeling confident. I still can't print and am still seeing an error message. Just really, really bad. Don't buy it.

Love it. Works great wirelessly for my home office. I’ve been extremely impressed with the Brother MFC-L3720CDW. Purchased to replace liquid fill Epson that died after less than 3 years. This didn't start out great as wireless link didn't work well (printer would turn off on its own and not restart without pressing manual turn on switch) plus had to reload program twice. When wife tied into printer wirelessly, my program died; when I reloaded, her link worked except that print out was meaningless garbage. Latest complete software/firmware upgrade appears to solve these problems (so far). Printer is good and cartridges should last a long time at our rate of printing. So 4 stars because of software/firmware problems that appear to have been solved but will want some more use time before final judgement. Also, we got this via online purchase. Writeup does not mention that printer comes with ink cartridges (it does) so you don't have to buy any more (at least for awhile).

I really like this Brother printer. It prints fast, the colors look great, and the print quality is excellent. It was also easy to connect to WiFi and use from my phone. Perfect for school work, office tasks, and everyday use. Great purchase.

I purchased this printer to replace two old tired monochrome laser printers built by "another company". I have sporadic printing needs, including colour, and have found that ink jets tend to have problems when they aren't used regularly. My work computers run Ubuntu Linux and getting the printer up and running with them was simple, including both printing and scanning. The Brother drivers that are automatically loaded in Ubuntu 24.04 (latest version) work without a hitch. No problems with the wifi connection either. I really appreciate the printer managing its firmware updates on its own, so that I don't have to hunt them down - the control panel just indicates when an update is ready to install. The print quality seems great. I haven't tried printing on glossy paper, but certainly the plain paper quality is more than fine. The sheet feeder on the document scanner works without a hitch. In sum, I'm super happy to have made the decision to acquire this printer. Highly recommended, and I would buy another.
