In terms of the bit everyone dreads, getting the blood, you don't even see a needle. The finger prick device is spring loaded, you just press it against you finger, there's a 'click' then the blood appears. I didn't even feel it. Well worth reading the tips like having a hot shower before or warming your hand in some water first.
