Good translation in English. Contains entire translation of Magic squares and Talismans from the book. Which are basically the essential parts. And 99 names of Allah.

I have waited for this translation for so long. Thank you John Voldemont.

We've been waiting for a translation of this book for years, and here it is at last. Overall, it's superb. The text is very clear and usable. Only thing, some of the images of the more complex talismans have been poorly reproduced. It's a tradition based upon exact spelling and use of letters, and in some places it's impossible to tell which letters are being used. It would be even worse for a non-Arabic reader. That's a very small problem, though. The book is wonderful. An absolute treasure trove!

A very poor "Translation" or as the author admits in the introduction, a selection.

The print quality of the images is terrible. It's as though the resolution was shrunk on all images in order to make the file small enough to send it to a print on demand website's upload tool, then it was rasterized to try and force detail back. It's almost unreadable, especially for a book which is specifically focused on those illustrations of magic squares. I took macro photos of letters from some of the magic squares so you can see how strange it is for yourself. It says it's printed in Troutdale, Oregon so I assume it's not only an issue for Canadian customers getting a bad locally printed Canadian batch. It's actually kind of shocking that it's been released in this format. I'm going to think it over for a bit first but I will probably be returning mine and hoping for a revised edition.
