I bought this book for my brother for Christmas and he has done nothing but boast of it since. He is now engaged and I believe that this book is challenging him to be more of a blessing to his soon-to-be wife. I had no doubt that this book would be amazing especially being influenced by the film 'courageous'

Die Autoren faszinieren und inspirieren. Ein rührendes Buch für alle Männer, die nach fruchtbarem Leben zu Gottes Ehren trachten und ein Segen für Ihre Familien und Freunde sein möchten.

I have been having trouble with my 9-year relationship. Things got difficult between us after the birth of our son. I am only 30 pages though this book so far and it has already given me a whole new outlook on the role of a male in a relationship. I would recommend this to anyone who is having similar issues, or even for anyone who feels they have a great relationship. This book will give every male a new and improved set of standards to guide them in their life to becoming a more supportive father and husband.

Being raised by a single mom, I never really experienced what a honorable man looked like first hand, so in my adult age I never really gave it a lot of thought, but assumed that I was honorable. This book really showed me what God required of me as a son, a man, a father, and a husband. This book has the ability to start a fire towards true manhood if you allow it to. That's what it did for me. I love this book for that reason alone. A lot of things don't move me, but The Resolution for Men surely did.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and the lessons presented on becoming, and living steadfastly as a true man of faith. To say it is necessary given the state of our society, our neighborhoods, our homes, and our families is an understatement. So much in the world around us would be positively altered if men would stand up and truly be the men that God intended for us to be. This text is a perfect start for men who are tired of living as less than God ordained, and stand up and declare to the world who will stand in the gap for our families, our churches, our communities, our nation, and our world. We will!

This book has been great. I watched the movie "Courageous" first the same time as a good buddy of mine. We then began to read this book together. We live in different states, so we read a chapter every week and have a lunch-time conference call every Monday to discuss it. I don't think this book would be as valuable if I didn't have that accountability and discussion. So if you're looking to buy this book, I highly recommend buying at least two and giving one to a good friend to share the journey with. I also highly recommend watching the movie first.

Really love this book. My husband & I each have the versions for men & women, as well as the prayer cards, and Daily Devotions.This is a really big blessing to our busy mornings when we are hurrying to get ready and out of the house.These tools enable us to pray for eachother separately and together, without taking too much time when we don’t have it to spare.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This is a great read for not just Christian men, but men in general. Also, it's a great way to hold a mirror up to yourself and honestly, it's pretty hard to get through. Not because it's boring, but because it's good at pointing a finger at you and calling out your fault where you had convinced yourself that there was none.

This is a well written, challenging book for any dad and husband who wants to navigate his family according to the wisdom of the Bible. Interestingly, we chose to use it as the basis for a father/son mentoring group for our teenage sons and it's working great! We kicked off the group by all going to Courageous together and then talking about the key messages afterwards. Each week since then the dad and son read a chapter and meet one-on-one, quizzing each other on the memory verse and then talking about the content of the chapter. Every other week the entire group of dads and sons get together to discuss it and have accountability. We call the group The Ironmen after the "iron sharpens iron" and between the movie, this book, and dads who want to pour into their sons, it's going great.I highly recommend this book for every dad and husband, and for those who are looking for a catalyst for pouring into their teenage son.
