Econo Clone 18 is a true Aeroponic cloning system that gives you healthy rooted clones in 5 to 10 days. Also works well starting seeds or mail order strawberry plants. Durable black bucket and lid inhibit algae growth within the machine. 1 3/4” Net Pots and 1 1/2" RockWool cubes included for easy transplanting into soil or hydroponic systems. Vita Grow Rooting Compound, combined with Vita Grow Nutrients are two necessary products to ensure healthy root growth and dark green foliage. Econo Clone 18 will clone your favorite plants much faster than traditional cloning methods, and rivals other Aeroponic cloning systems at a fraction of the cost. Vita Grow samples will last up to 6 cycles, or up to 4 months.

sweet little machine, great bang for buck
so far 20 for 20 without much stress to the clones. works very well and very easy to use. The only small issue is if you don't use all the sites water tends to splash up every where. I simple wrapped unused net cups with plastic kitchen wrap and that kept the water off the leaves. It would be great if they sold solid cups or lids to help solve this little problem. But overall great product and for the prices its hard to beat.

Needs tweakin but very good
Awesome cloner..only problems are 1. Need air pump an stone (not included) 2. Need water heater (not included) 3. Need to cut bucket lid to fit water heater line an air hose. I use hydroton instead of the rockwool included for drainage purposes an works wonders after tweakin. No more cubes an plant trays. Unlike instructions i kept mine under light an have been very successful with clonex solutions

Good cloning system, but not perfect
This is a pretty good system, but it's not perfect.First, the small pots are designed to hold 1 inch rockwool cubes, but when I used rockwool, my plants were constantly overwatered. I have better luck just using foam plugs and letting the roots start through the empty pots.Secondly, I don't really like the PVC water nozzle they came up with. I feel it puts water jets too close to the plants. So what I've been doing with more luck is not even using the water pump and nozzle. I put airstones in the bucket and the clones love that so much more. They still get tons of humidity, and the delicate stems don't get blasted with water jets.Third, this system does not come with any water heater. That's a must if your water temp gets too low, because it will stunt your plants growth. Especially in the cloning stage, this is bad. I bought a cheap aquarium heater at Wal Mart and have used that successfully since. In order to achieve the humidity you need to successfully clone, I had to find a cover for the bucket. What I came up with works pretty well, but it's not an exact fit. It's actually made for making mushrooms, but it works good and gives my clones 99 percent humidity. The link for that is: [...]That keeps their leaves alive and fresh for much longer, greatly increasing their chances of success. The other thing I thought was odd was that the instructions said that clones do not need grow lights until they start rooting...I've found that getting them under a grow light within a week greatly increases their chances of survival. In closing, I would say this is a pretty good cloning system. It's small and doesn't take up a lot of room. But it does need some tweaking to make it better. I don't regret my purchase at all though!

Nice starter kit
Nice starter kit. I wish they would have given better instructions for a beginner such as I, but I can google whatever I need to know. I am going to try to find compatible lids so can do different sized baskets.

I only use this method now as it seems to work better and is more convenient than the rockwool
Would get five stars but there was no instructions to soak your rock wool for 24 hours first and I had to go out and buy the foam stem holders for the tops. If you just dip the stems in clonex and put them in the foam inserts your clones sprout roots in less then a week, I only use this method now as it seems to work better and is more convenient than the rockwool.

Five Stars
A bit noisy, but all the cuttings are doing well so far.

Recommend only using 12 sites per cloning run
Kicks butt. Simple to operate and maintain. Recommend only using 12 sites per cloning run, inner 6 sites don't stay as wet as the outer 12 sites.
