Amazing!
This is an amazing scope at a reasonable price! I have been using it for a few months and I have been very impressed with the features. I thought the touch screen would be annoying, but it actually adds to the ease of use for some of the settings. The automatic measurements are spot on. My only frustration was when the cursors "stopped working" but I simply had to click on the Cursor Settings to re-assign a channel (not sure how "none" was an option.) If you have had ANY experience using a scope, you will be happy with this one.

Low price with advanced touch screen.
I purchased the RIGOL DHO802 Oscilloscope on October 5, 2023. The price was $ 299.99 US dollars. It's a great scope and the touch screen makes it so easy to use. The front screen plastic is also scratch proof. Please take note the black area that you see in the pictures is not the screen size, because of the touch screen the actual screen size is smaller at 3 - 3/8 x 6 -1/8 or 56 mm x 88mm. It's powered by a LiteOn 120 volt ac adapter with a USB-C connector, MN: PA-1650-58. It has threaded inserts on the back for a 100mm Vesa mount, 4 mm screws. It also has an HDMI connector for a large high def monitor, and the OS will scale the resolution up to a high rate to match the monitor, CrowVi or elecrow dot com is the company name. You can also use a mouse and connect to the Web. It runs the Android OS - 7.1.2. One of the reasons I bought this scope was so I wouldn't have to purchase an isolation transformer for it. With the AC adapter power supply, the scope is isolated from other test equipment and won't get damaged from common grounds. See the video on You - Tube: "How Not To Blow Up Your Scope" on EEVBlog. The PDF help file is built in. It also has a lot of self test features.

Amazing set of features
I am upgrading from a Rigol DS1102E that I have been using for the last few years, and I have been truly impressed with this scope. Amazing build quality and set of features in a relatively low-priced lab equipment. It has a much improved interface, HDMI / LAN and USB ports. Simply connect it to your home network via the Ethernet port, and the built-in Web interface allows you to fully control the scope from any device. 12-bit accuracy. I would have liked to see more probes and accessories, but these can always be purchased separately. If you are a serious hobbyist or engineer, do not waste time with inferior portable/USB scopes - just buy this one.

Very nice.
Quite happy. Not perfect. Touch screen fiddley and I am used to dedicated controls for each channel as I spent years with a 465, but it puts the little USB jobs to shame. This is a "real" scope. I had an 8 bit and it just did not cut it for my audio work. 12 bit does.

Nice O-Scope
I've had this oscilloscope for about a month now and am getting used to it. After coming from an old analog scope the is a little bit of difference to get used to. Overall though this product is well designed, well built and the software interface is pretty good. The feature set is really good making a lot of measurements faster and easier than my old analog scope. It is a little slower to acquire and sync but that is to be expected. Overall I think it's a great product and would recommend it.

Great Utility Scope
Purchased to replace a TEK TDS220 with math module with a faded screen. The Rigol DHO802 is a couple generations newer in technology and I am very happy with its performance. I did have to adjust to this being a computer based analysis tool rather than an electronic emulation of a CRT scope. It takes some time to boot, but no longer that it takes a CRT scope to stabilize. It does sometimes lock up like any computer system, which can be annoying. There is a restore factory settings option which I found helpful once when it would not clear a bug in XY display after multiple reboots. The screen is clear and bright enough for my work environment. Traces are different colors to aid in operation. Time and amplitude accuracy are excellent. User interface took some time to learn and I keep the manual handy as I gain familiarity. This scope has a wealth of analytics and measurement features which cover all of my needs and much that I do not use. DMM and frequency measurements match the HP bench meters I have been using, so this one instrument has the accuracy and capability of replacing a bench scope, frequency counter, DMM and low frequency spectrum analyzer. Controls are a combination of analog scope emulation and touch screen tablet, with multiple options for basic operations. Touch screen is responsive most of the year, but when the air is dry, I use a touch screen stylus. There is no printed documentation, but the on line manual has been extremely useful and is well written. A person considering this purchase can get a copy and see if the instrument will cover their needs. I printed major extracts because I prefer having a reference open to the section I need to the on line help. The manual is included in the instrument help section for access to less frequently used sections. I am very satisfied with this instrument and would buy it again without hesitation. The software lockups were annoying, and I do not like the USB-C power connector, although this choice does allow the convenience of using a generic power brick.

DHO802 model, defected device, cant say software or hardware.
As i am proud owner of two Rigol units, I'll take 1-2h to explain in dept situation, i don't leave comments normally at all. I am not advertising or promoting, just saying my position, i dont have any benefits. I just buy and use, return if it doesn't work, like to buy stuff from Amazon, its practical, dont need to walk, just order and wait package, especially if u are prime member, FAST delivery free, and some more benefits.... There is no complications, it works or it doesn't not, 99.9% stuff is OK. If u buy cheep stuff, it can go bad or deteriorate in next few days or weeks, but u still have guaranty, but again its case in max 1-2% situations. Sometimes its too cheep to seek refund, so just let it be.. High-tech stuff which is imitation or budget product, can fail. Same goes for professional devices, more in description. Ive put 5 stars because i am a long time fan of RIGOL, Extreme fan, best Scopes on market, have few other brands but nothing close to Rigol, love easy access buttons around screen, that's main thing which took me to Rigol DS1102Z-E. Dont have stationary unit at the hand, DS1102Z-E left in country where i am born, have 2 different hand held Scopes, not bad, but its pain to change parameters, display to small.... wanted to finish some stuff this weekend, need upgrade in any case.... from my DS1102Z-E decided to go on DHO802, again 2 channel, performance reason, for me 2 channel is better. At least i concluded that from review at youtube. Have buy 5 years ago my First Rigol, DS1102Z-E scope, and i stuck with it, LOVE IT, still works... not even high electromagnetic pulses stops him, 5m across the room TV 55" losing his grip and begging to stop, while discharging 100nf at 10kV at 100-120/s rate, mechanical watch at hand stops, 3m away PC burned, but not DS1102Z-E. I am talking about discharging fully charged at 10KV 100nf cap, discharge is overwhelming, repetition is stunning, shocking, paralyzing..... psychologically u need a few sec to get ur grip. DS1102Z-E Its a Judgment day machine, 50cm distance from 3 turn 20cm radius, 120square millimeter copper coil.... that magnetic pulses would stop T800 Chip inside of thick shielded scull, but not my DS1102Z-E, he didn't even need to be restarted, that could not be said for my PC, TV and watch, watch need some shaking to again start ticking. Only thing which ive invested first day is high voltage probes, 300V doesn't bound well with high frequency currents, smallest capacitor at wrong place or wrong situation, can take insane charge and burn any multi-meter, yeah that's DS1102Z-E, 1 time buy, no reason to buy another toy next 5 years. Just to be clear, experiment lost control, not even Faraday cage could save situation, to much power per burst at highly repetitive frequency over 5 second period, nothing could survive that, but Rigol did, that's main reason why i am writing this comment and giving 5 stars. As i don't have here DS1102Z-E and need bigger display Scope, I wanted to buy little better model, DS1102Z-E Its cheep and have all what i need, 100 MHz, 1 GSa, for me 10mhz is max what would ever need.... BUT ive seen DHO802, 12bits, 1.25GSa, it also have FFT, so, little better model BUT touch screen and remote control.... made a decision immediately. Also have DG1032Z, its remarkable peace of device.... Cheapest Professional lab generator, when u try it one time, u forgot that ne555, tl494 are ever invented.... So, About my new toy DHO802.... I got defective device. Decided to buy it mainly because big touch screen which i could plug in DHO802... and work remotely with fingers, that would be some new level.... also, could use it with mouse at big monitor. Its blunt defect, can happen, but better quality control could prevent this situation.... again it can happen but why me.... Must say, its pristine, the packages, all inside... its not refurbished, repackaged, it was been 100% new. I even asked double box, extra protection while transport, its all originally packed from manufacturer, but i had option at Amazon to protect package with one more box... but still, scope is defective, don't want to boot system, as it seems no matter how much u want to prevent some things, Stuff happens. Just blinking lights in background when start booting. Looked forums, people say Micro card where system is installed could be corrupted- defective.... All in all, ive returned package today, same day, and waiting refund to buy again new DHO802. Ive call Rigol support center, nobody answer, logically its Saturday, work week is finished, 16 o'clock, no luck there. Video, Display is quite reflective, blurred stumps are from my dirty fingers, nothing wrong with Display. That's also one of good reasons why to buy monitor touch screen or use it remotely over Monitor with mouse. My happy weekend fall apart, i got the toy and returned immediately.

Maybe repaired returned item
This is so complicated I need to learn to use it. Hope its fully ok. The 3 star is because I'm not confident it is new. Was packaged in 2 rigol boxes. The outer one was sealed with rigol tape. The inner one has seal neatly sliced. So was not sealed. There was no screen protector on lcd either. I think it's a repaired / returned item from rigol. I have seen many statements on here about similar experiences.
