Mine did come with instructions; however, as other reviewers noted, there is a bit of an issue with the lights popping off when inserting and replacing into the stock placeholder. Highly recommend a small piece of electrical tape (don't wrap it around all around, just the from top border to border,), and this will fix the minor issue.As far as the Left/Right is concerned, all you need to do is turn the lens (there's a little black bracket on the side) by hand or using a small flathead screwdriver (same one used to pry the stock light out), and that's it. Also, you can line up the projection based on this. I played around with it and found if you leave the bracket dead-center, the projection will not skew. Quick thing to remember:Comes with additional connectors (to retrofit your specific vehicle.) I didn't have to use them as the stock connector matched the light cutout. Make sure you match up the end of the connector to end of the light's fit. Yes, you can inverse it. However, the last thing you want is to receive a fault and have to take it to the dealer to clear it.On the door jam cutout, on the outside, it appears that the light would fit either way, however, not so. There is a clip inside, so match up the clip to the "little belly" end of the light, you may need to put some elbow grease (don't force it) or pry it a little with the small flathead screwdriver, and it will pop in beautifully. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had to cut Off a portion of the plastic *by C***N on December 10, 2018* 2015 Acura TLX V6 w/ Tech packagesoo 4 stars because I had to cut off part of the plastic in the first picture the clear plastic part didn’t allow it to fully clip in I took mini saw that I had and cut off the plastic part that was causing to get stuck after that it was easy to install. To install I had to just use a flat head in where the light is at and it popped out easily took off the old and connected the lights ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall good so far *by M***C on April 17, 2019* Overall, these are okay lights. Very easy to install. I had one fall apart while I was trying to put it in the door, but I was able to put it back together. They do get hot and I found that out with the one that fell apart. So far they are working. I think one is changing angles but can't confirm.
