Mr. Buddy meet 5 gallon propane bottle
We had a big storm that knocked out the power for a while. My wife got cold so I fired up the Mr. Buddy heater. Realizing I only had a few of the little green tanks I went to the store to get some. The guy at the store laughed at me. He said in two hours he has sold more than 200 small tanks and is completely out. I did not really like using the little green tanks and searched out a solution to use my bigger propane tank as the source. This hose and a filter got me up and running. I am not sure how long one of the bigger tanks will last but I believe it will last much much longer. The hose seems of good quality and the threads are tight without any propane leaking. Works with the filter perfectly. The Mr. Buddy hose was $60.00 plus shipping. This hose and filter was under $30.00.

Definitely works as advertised. Unbeatable value for the price. Exteriors appears to be solid and durable. The additional length (8 ft vs standard 5 ft) provides options a shorter hose doesn’t. Two minor details that were included that make this product better; 1. Thread seal tape included (It’s minor, but you don’t have to go searching through your stuff to find some), 2. It comes in a personal bag (also minor, but after use you can place it back in the bag instead of trying to find a place for it, and it is now neat and easy to find for future uses).
